BREAKING: Attorney for Kavanaugh Accuser Says Client Willing to TESTIFY… But Not Monday

posted by Hannity Staff - 9.20.18

The attorney for Christine Ford officially responded to Sen. Chuck Grassley’s office Thursday, saying her client is willing to testify before Congress but needs more time to ensure her security and safety.

According to Fox News, Ford’s legal team sent a letter to Grassley’s office confirming her willingness to address her allegations of sexual misconduct against Judge Brett Kavanaugh; asking the Senator to provide “terms that are fair and which ensure her safety.”

“As you are aware, she has been receiving death threats, which have been reported to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and she and her family have been forced out of their home,” the email states. “She wishes to testify, provided that we can agree on terms that are fair and which ensure her safety.”

BREAKING: Sen. Chuck Grassley Sets Friday Deadline for Kavanaugh Accuser

posted by Hannity Staff - 9.19.18

Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley set a new deadline for Brett Kavanaugh’s accuser to respond to his request for her to speak at a committee hearing; saying she must officially respond by 10:00am Friday.

According to Reuters, Grassley fired-off an official letter to ranking Democrat Dianne Feinstein requesting her initial, un-redacted version of the material she forwarded to the FBI.

“(Ford) continues to believe that a full non-partisan investigation of this matter is needed and she is willing to cooperate with the Committee,” said Lisa Banks, Ford’s attorney. “However, the Committee’s stated plan to move forward with a hearing that has only two witnesses is not a fair or good faith investigation; there are multiple witnesses whose names have appeared publicly and should be included in any proceeding.”

Feinstein stunned her Congressional colleagues last week when she confirmed she had forwarded Christine Blasey Ford’s sexual misconduct allegations to the FBI.
