FIREWORKS: Huckabee Sanders GOES NUCLEAR on CNN’s Jim Acosta

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.11.17

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders unloaded on CNN White House correspondent Jim Acosta on Monday, getting into a heated exchange over recent anti-Trump stories that were “purposely misleading the American people.”

“I would just say Sarah, that journalists make honest mistakes, and that doesn’t make them fake news,” Acosta told Sanders during the daily White House Press Briefing.

“There’s a very big difference between making an honest mistake and purposely misleading the American people.”

“When journalists make honest mistakes, they should own up to them,” fired back Sanders. “There’s a very big difference between making an honest mistake and purposely misleading the American people; something that happens regularly.”

“You cannot say that it’s an honest mistake when you’re purposely putting out information that you know to be false or when you’re taking information that hasn’t been validated, that hasn’t been offered any credibility, and that has been continually denied by multiple people including people with direct knowledge of an incident,” she added.

“I’m speaking about a number of reports that have taken place over the last couple of weeks, I’m simply stating that there should be a certain level of responsibility in that process,” said the Press Secretary. “Jim, I’m going to say once and for all that I’m moving on… And I’m not taking another question from you at this point.”

HELL FREEZES OVER: Huckabee Sanders Says HILLARY CLINTON ‘Right’ on One Issue

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.03.18

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders shut down journalists at her daily briefing on Tuesday, unloading on reporters attempting to equate President Trump’s approach towards Iran with his predecessor; adding that Hillary Clinton was “right” when she critiqued Obama’s approach to Iranian protests during his first term.

Sanders was speaking with the White House press pool for the first time since the holiday break when she was asked to comment on President Trump’s tweets regarding the civil unrest sweeping across Iran.

“One of the big things, and I think even Hillary Clinton outlined this when she said that the Obama administration was too restrained at the 2009 protests, and said that won’t happen again,” said Sanders.

“For once, she’s right. We agree with her, because President Trump is not going to sit by silently like President Obama did. He certainly supports the Iranian people, and wants to make that clear,” she added.

The President weighed-in on the protests taking place in the Islamic Republic on social media Tuesday, applauding the people of Iran for “finally acting against the brutal and corrupt” regime.

“The people of Iran are finally acting against the brutal and corrupt Iranian regime. All of the money that President Obama so foolishly gave them went into terrorism and into their “pockets.” The people have little food, big inflation and no human rights. The U.S. is watching!” he tweeted.
