WEST COAST CHAOS: ‘Medieval Diseases’ Strike California’s Tent Cities, Homeless Camps

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.22.19

A series of devastating “medieval diseases” have struck California’s growing tent cities and homeless camps in recent days, with experts warning an increasing rat population and other factors are quickly spreading the contagious illnesses across the state.

“This homeless encampment off a Hollywood freeway ramp is often littered with needles and trash and soaked in urine. Rats occasionally scamper through,” reports Scientific American.

“Infectious diseases—some that ravaged populations in the Middle Ages—are resurging in California and around the country, and are hitting homeless populations especially hard,” adds the report.

According to Scientific American, Los Angeles has recently suffered an outbreak of Typhus as a result of “infected fleas on rats and other animals.”

“Our homeless crisis is increasingly becoming a public health crisis,” said California Governor Gavin Newsom in February. “Typhus… A medieval disease. In California. In 2019.”

CALIFORNIA CHAOS: Major Conventions ABANDON San Francisco Over ‘Safety’ Concerns

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.03.18

As thousands of Americans abandon San Francisco over rising crime, escalating homelessness, and rampant drug use, one major convention has decided to pull-the-plug on its semi-annual Bay Area conference; saying its members “no longer feel safe” in the region.

According to SF Gate, at least one “major medical association” has decided to cancel its annual convention in San Francisco; ending a tradition that extends back to the early 1980s.

“It’s the first time that we have had an out-and-out cancellation over the issue, and this is a group that has been coming here every three or four years since the 1980s,” said the President of San Francisco’s tourism bureau.

“The doctors group told the San Francisco delegation that while they loved the city, post-convention surveys showed their members were afraid to walk amid the open drug use, threatening behavior and mental illness that are common on the streets,” writes SF Gate.

“There was a time when the biggest obstacle to having a convention here was that it can be expensive, but now we have this new factor,” added the tourism insider.

CALIFORNIA CHAOS: Residents Flee ‘Sanctuary’ San Francisco’s ‘DISEASED STREETS’

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.20.18

San Francisco residents are fleeing the ‘City by the Bay’ in record numbers as crime, illegal immigration, drug use, and homelessness transform the city’s once-beautiful streets into “trash littered” blocks covered in “piles of feces.”

According to a recent study released by NBC News, investigators found at least 41 blocks within the city limits covered in used needles with 96 blocks “sullied with feces.”

“How dirty is San Francisco? An NBC Bay Area Investigation reveals a dangerous mix of drug needles, garbage, and feces throughout downtown San Francisco,” writes NBC.

“As the Investigative Unit photographed nearly a dozen hypodermic needles scattered across one block, a group of preschool students happened to walk by on their way to an afternoon field trip to city hall,” the report adds.

The study echoes similar reports from earlier this month, with CBS News claiming people were emigrating from the Bay Area in record numbers; citing sanctuary city laws as a primary reason to relocate as drug use and criminal activity escalates daily.

“I loved it here when I first got here. I really loved it here. But it’s just not the same,” said one software engineer. “We don’t like it here anymore. You know, we don’t like this sanctuary state status and just the politics.”
