WITCH HUNT WIDENS: Mueller SUBPOENAS TRUMP'S Businesses, Demands Records

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.15.18

Special counsel Robert Mueller’s months-long witch hunt into allegations the Trump campaign colluded with Russian officials widened Thursday; with Mueller’s office issuing subpoenas to the Trump organization and demanding all records related to ‘Russia.’

According to the New York Times, the special counsel has officially requested all documents related to Russia and Russian nationals; the first time Mueller’s office has directly requested material from the President’s businesses.

“The breadth of the subpoena was not clear, nor was it clear why Mr. Mueller issued it instead of simply asking for the documents from the company, an umbrella organization that oversees Mr. Trump’s business ventures,” writes the Times.

Mueller’s move is further evidence his probe is nowhere near wrapping up and could drag on for months; possibly becoming a major political issue during the 2018 midterm elections.

The subpoenas come just hours after the White House issued harsh sanctions on 19 foreign nationals for their role in meddling in the 2016 race for the White House.

COLLUSION CHAOS: Robert Mueller DISMISSES CHARGES Against Former Trump Insider

Special counsel Robert Mueller’s office moved to officially dismiss recent charges against Rick Gates Tuesday afternoon, after the former deputy chairman to President Trump’s 2016 campaign pleaded guilty to charges of money laundering and tax fraud, reports the Washington Post.

Both Gates and Manafort were previously indicted with multiple counts of conspiracy to launder money, acting as unregistered agents on behalf of foreign governments, making false statements, and failure to disclose financial records.

The special counsel’s office decision to drop the charges signals Gates may be offering to cooperate with Mueller’s probe into Manafort’s finances; further suggesting the ongoing investigation into Russian “collusion” centers on the former campaign chairman’s foreign investments and financial ties.

Rick Gates joined the Trump campaign in the early months of 2016 after Manafort was hired as chairman, and worked under him as his deputy in the run-up to the US presidential election.

Paul Manafort has maintained his innocence throughout Mueller’s probe, vowing to fight the allegations in court since his initial indictment last October.

COLLUSION COLLAPSE: Mueller Says Russian MEDDLING BEGAN Before Trump’s Candidacy

The left-wing conspiracy theory that the Trump campaign “colluded” with Russian officials ahead of the 2016 presidential campaign continued to crash and burn Friday, with Robert Mueller’s indictment showing the foreign nationals began meddling in US politics one year before Donald Trump announced his run for office.

The bombshell indictment of 13 Russian nationals and three foreign “entities” shocked the nation’s capital Friday afternoon, with Mueller’s probe saying the interference began back in 2014 when the Russian-backed “Internet Research Agency” began spreading misinformation on social media.

“According to the indictment, the Internet Research Agency, a Russian troll farm, started interfering as early as 2014 in U.S. politics, extending to the 2016 presidential election,” writes the Chicago Tribune. “The defendants, ‘posing as U.S. persons and creating false U.S. personas,’ operated social media groups designed to attract U.S. audiences by stealing U.S. identities and falsely claiming to be U.S. activists.”

The explosive indictment also says the Russian actors contacted “unwitting” members of the Trump campaign, concealing their nationality in an attempt to sow chaos ahead of the 2016 election.
