Hannity to McConnell: Stop Whining Like a Five-Year Old

During his opening monologue on ‘Hannity’ Thursday night, Sean slammed Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell for his non-stop “whining” over President Trump’s high expectations, saying if McConnell doesn’t like Trump’s demands then it’s time to retire.

“The President continues to slam […] the weak, the spineless, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell for complaining that ‘Trump has excessive expectations,'” said Hannity. “Senator, why don’t you have that sense of urgency the President has?”

“The President’s comments come in response to Senator McConnell whining like a five-year-old, complaining, making excuses to his constituents in Kentucky that the President’s expectations are just too high to pass repeal and replace after eight months,” Sean added.

Hannity then blasted McConnell for his epic failure to repeal and replace Obamacare, telling the GOP leader he and fellow republicans were the ones that promised to deliver healthcare reform for over seven years.

“Here’s a newsflash for Senator McConnell: Get to work Senator. You don’t seem to get that you and your fellow republicans, you’re the ones that set those excessive expectations,” said Sean.

“It’s time to clean house, put leaders in charge who are going to listen and serve the American people,” he added. “If Senator McConnell wants to make excuses and whine constantly about President Trump being too demanding: Senator, it’s time to retire.”
