Guam's Governor: Trump "Punched" Bully Kim in the Face

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.06.17

The governor of Guam thanked President Trump for his harsh words and staunch support of the US territory in the face of North Korean aggression, saying the President stopped Kim Jong Un with a “punch in the nose.”

Eddie Calvo’s comments come as President Trump faces harsh criticism from liberal lawmakers and the mainstream media over his “bellicose” and “dangerous” statements regarding the North Korean missile threat.

“Sometimes a bully can only be stopped with a punch in the nose,” the governor told AFP. “Everyone who grew up in the schoolyard in elementary school, we understand a bully.”

“Kim Jong-Un is a bully with some very strong weapons… a bully has to be countered very strongly,” he added.

Calvo is the governor of Guam, a US territory in the South Pacific Ocean that hosts seven major American military installations. The island is referred to as “the tip of the spear’ for the US military, and would likely be a major launching ground for a strike against the communist nation.

Kim Jong Un raised alarm bells throughout the island –and Washington- last week, after he unveiled his plan to attack the territory with four medium-range ballistic missiles in response to punishing UN sanctions. The President pushed back against the threat immediately, saying any aggression towards Guam would be met with “fire and fury the likes of which the world has never seen.”
