Hannity: It's Time for the Country to Come Together

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.14.17

Speaking on ‘Hannity’ Monday night, Sean applauded the anti-racist protesters that filled the streets of Boston over the weekend, saying the demonstrators were rallying for a cause shared by all Americans and urged people across the country to come together.

“This weekend in Boston we saw a massive demonstration to stand up to bigotry and hatred. According to the police 40,000 people showed up, the vast majority of those people were peaceful,” said Hannity.

“Police in Boston, the Mayor of the city, and the Governor of Massachusetts, they deserve a tremendous amount of credit and praise. It was clearly all hands-on deck, and they were there for the people in their city and in their state,” he added.

Sean then slammed the mainstream media and liberal democrats for attempting to divide the country along racial lines; blasting their attempts to smear the President as a racist and white supremacist in the aftermath of the deadly protests in Charlottesville, Virginia.

“It’s time for the liberal media, and the democrats to stop playing the race card. Stop using this for political advancement and dividing the country even further,” said Sean. “It’s time to stop spreading the false narrative against the President and conservatives because all it’s doing is tearing the country apart every time it’s done.”

“The President is now in governing mode tonight,” he added. I hope Congress was watching tonight, and I hope they understand that the American people expect them to do their job.”
