Nancy Pelosi STILL Won't Condemn Antifa Protesters

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.23.17

Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi refused to call-out violent Antifa protesters by name this week, instead calling for “peaceful protests” in the aftermath of the violent attacks that injured five Trump supporters in Berkeley, California over the weekend.

The House Minority Leader released her statement after Antifa demonstrators intentionally targeted peaceful Donald Trump supporters at a free speech rally on the liberal campus.

Pelosi’s office sent a one sentence response to the Washington Times Monday evening, saying “Leader Pelosi has always emphasized the importance of ‘peaceful’ in the right to peaceful protest.”

The statement comes just days after left-wing violence rocked Berkeley during an event the former Speaker referred to as a “white supremacist rally.” Pelosi had previously called on the National Parks Service to revoke the group’s permit, saying you can’t “Yell wolf in a theater.”

“From the start, I have had grave concerns about the public safety hazard the National Park Service would create by permitting a white supremacist rally in the middle of a park for families and children,” said Nancy just days before the protests.

“As we ponder where and by whom the ill-conceived decision to approve this permit in a national park was made, we must all pray it does not become an invitation to incite violence,” she added.
