Liberal Senator Dianne Feinstein stunned a crowd in San Francisco Tuesday night, telling the packed audience that Donald Trump will most likely serve a “full term” and could actually be a “good President.”
The prominent democrat was speaking to a sold-out crowd with former Rep. Ellen Tauscher when she made the stunning admission, saying Democrats need to be “patient” with the new administration amidst repeated calls for the President’s impeachment.
“I think we have to have some patience, I do,” Feinstein told the crowd. “It’s eight months into the tenure of the presidency … We’ll have to see if he can forget himself and his feelings about himself enough to be able to have the empathy and direction that this country needs.”
The audience immediately booed and hissed the liberal Senator’s comments, with some yelling “No!”
“This man is going to be president most likely for the rest of this term,” she added. “I just hope he has the ability to learn and change. If he does, he can be a good president, and that’s my hope.”
According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the audience reacted with “stunned silence” to the Senator’s comments, with some hissing the liberal leader.
