PATHETIC: Jennifer Lawrence Blames Trump Supporters for Hurricane Irma

posted by Hannity Staff - 10.16.17

Liberal actress Jennifer Lawrence slammed supporters of President Trump during an interview with a British television channel this week, saying the recent natural disasters taking place in the United States was “mother nature’s rage” at climate change skeptics.

Lawrence was speaking with Channel 4 to promote her upcoming movie when she made the outlandish comments, saying “human activity” was causing the massive storms and that the only way to address the issue is “through voting.”

“I mean when the director was asked about the film, why it was so dark, he said, ‘It’s a mad time to be alive.’ And there is certainly an end of days feeling about it. For many people, in America who would say, [grimaces] perhaps it’s truer there at the moment than anywhere else,” said the actress.

“It’s scary […] You know, it’s this new language that’s forming, I don’t even recognize it. It’s also scary to know, that climate change is due to human activity, and we continue to ignore it, and the only voice that we really have is through voting,” added Lawrence. “You know you’re watching these hurricanes now, and it’s really hard especially while promoting this movie, not to feel mother nature’s rage and wrath.”

Lawrence’s comments come as Florida and other states in the southeastern United States brace for another devastating storm; this time Hurricane Irma –predicted to make landfall in Miami as a Category 4 hurricane. Irma has already taken dozens of lives throughout the Caribbean on its way to the US.
