TOO LATE? North Korean Experts Say It's 'Too Late' to Stop Kim's Nukes

posted by Hannity Staff - 9.20.17

North Korean experts and regime insiders told Fox News on Thursday that there’s “no way” to stop Kim Jong Un’s nuclear and missile programs, saying the communist nation had crossed a threshold and could directly target American and European cities.

Andrei Lankov, a South Korean-based nuclear expert made the startling announcement, adding that there’s “no way to stop” Kim from developing his nuclear weapons and that his programs were advancing “much faster than anybody expected.”

“They want to get the point of having a sufficient number of intercontinental ballistic missiles capable of destroying a sufficient number of American cities,” Lankov added.

The expert also announced that any direct military action between North Korea and the United States or its allies would result in a second Korean war, and would likely result in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people.

“I don’t think, unfortunately, there is no way to stop them,” Lankov said. “No way…A use of military force, but that would result in a second Korean war. That would be an absolute disaster.”

American officials believe Kim Jong Un is preparing yet another intercontinental ballistic missile test in the coming days; significantly raising the stakes in a region already on edge. President Trump has routinely warned the communist nation that any “act of aggression” against the US or its regional allies would be met with deadly force.
