Child actor and 1980s pop culture icon Corey Feldman warned the women of ‘The View’ back in 2013 about “rich and powerful” sexual predators lurking in Hollywood, saying they “are still working and are still out there.”
Feldman was speaking with Barbara Walters and other hosts when he made the shocking announcement, saying pedophiles and sexual predators were openly working throughout the film industry, particularly with child stars. Surprisingly, Walters and other scoffed at Feldman’s comments, saying he was “damaging an entire industry.”
“There are people that were the people that did this to both me and Corey [Haim] that are still working, they’re still out there, and they’re some of the richest most powerful people in this business. They do not want me saying what I’m saying right now,” said the former child star.
“Are you saying that they’re pedophiles? That they’re still in this business?” asked Walters.
“Yes, yes. They don’t want me here right now, trust me,” said Feldman.
“You’re damaging an entire industry,” fired-back Walters.
“I’m sorry, I’m not trying to. I’m just saying it’s a very important serious topic,” he added.
