Fox News anchor and best-selling author Ainsley Earhardt stopped-by the Sean Hannity Show to discuss her new book and weigh-in on the controversy surrounding the National Football League, saying President Trump is the “voice of so many people” throughout the country.
“Her last book ‘Take Heart, My Child’ went to number one on the New York Times best-seller list. Now Ainsley Earhardt is coming out with a new book in a couple weeks,” said Sean.
“I’m from the South, I grew up in a Christian home. Both of my grandfathers fought in World War 2, my father gave 20 years of service to the Army Reserves,” said Earhardt.
“I represent the South, I represent the fly-over states, the Midwest, and I feel like this President is the voice for so many people. It’s easy for us as journalists who live in New York City or journalists who live in Hollywood to put him down, but they don’t know the rest of the country,” she added.
“What is wrong with standing for the national anthem? What’s wrong with standing for the red, white, and blue?” asked Ainsley. “America represents all of us, the flag represents all of us. I don’t understand why individuals would want to “take a knee” during the national anthem.”
“The reason they have a right to play football and the reason we can pack those stands and not worry about a bomb going off is because men and women are fighting hard on the front lines for all of us,” she added.
Earhardt’s new book, “Through Your Eyes,” is a heart-warming reflection of Ainsley’s experiences as a mother “viewing wonders of the world through a child’s eyes.”
