Doomed Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will finally visit the state of Wisconsin on her never-ending excuses book tour; traveling to the pivotal swing state exactly one year after losing the 2016 presidential election to Donald Trump.
The former Secretary of State will make an appearance at the Riverside Theater in Milwaukee while promoting her tell-all memoir, “What Happened,” on Thursday. Clinton will read excerpts from the book and field questions from the audience, most of whom paid big bucks to see the failed candidate.
“Join Hillary Rodham Clinton this Fall as she travels the United States. She’ll connect with audiences in a conversation about a story that’s personal, raw, detailed, and surprisingly funny,” said the events website. “She’ll take you with her on her journey and talk about What Happened, what’s next, and what’s on your mind. What you’ll see will be her story – Live. Her story of resilience, how to get back up after a loss, and how we can all look ahead. It’s about Hillary’s experience as a woman in politics — she lets loose on this topic, and others, in a way she never has before.”
Clinton came under fire from furious Democrats in 2016 after her failed run for the White House, with many pointing out she completely ignored Wisconsin, Michigan, and other swing states that flipped for Donald Trump in 2016.
