A Commander of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard viciously mocked United States service members this week, telling a group of Iranian fighters in Syria that American soldiers were “cowards” who needed to “wear diapers” while fighting in Iraq.

IRGC-Quds Force Commander General Qasem Soleimani was addressing supporters in Al-Bukamal, Syria when he praised the Iranian soldiers bravery in the face of America and Saudi Arabia, saying “God wants this people to be victorious.”

“Look at the American forces today. They are more than one million strong. But despite their numbers and their capabilities, they are cowards,” said an official transcript from the Middle East Media Research Institute. “When they arrived in Iraq, they brought diapers for their soldiers, so that they could urinate in them when scared. You, on the other hand, have achieved victory with light weapons, Why? Because you are willing to make sacrifices.”

“Why does God make the Iranian people victorious? Why does God give victory to the Islamic Republic today?” asked Soleimani. “I believe that the victories become bigger and that their scope increases every day. Neither America nor Saudi Arabia can harm this people. God wants this people to be victorious. They are nothing next to God’s will, because our people is ready for martyrdom, and therefore, deserves victory.”
