BANNON BACKTRACKS: Former Trump Aide 'REGRETS' Donald Jr. Comments

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.08.18

Former White House official Steve Bannon expressed his “regret” over allegedly calling Donald Trump, Jr. “unpatriotic” and “treasonous” in a recent tabloid exposé; saying the President’s eldest son is “both a patriot and a good man.”

Bannon released an official statement to Axios after comments attributed to him were published in Michael Wolff’s “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” adding his “support is unwavering for the President and his agenda.”

“Donald Trump, Jr. is both a patriot and a good man,” writes Bannon. “He has been relentless in his advocacy for his father and the agenda that has helped turn our country around […] My comments about the meeting with Russian nationals came from my life experiences as a Naval officer stationed aboard a destroyer whose main mission was to hunt Soviet submarines.”

“My comments were aimed at Paul Manafort, a seasoned campaign professional with experience and knowledge of how the Russians operate,” he added. “He should have known they are duplicitous, cunning and not our friends. To reiterate, those comments were not aimed at Don Jr.”

Steve Bannon made national headlines earlier this month after excerpts from “Fire and Fury” made their way to the press.

The President immediately called-out Bannon for his hypocrisy, saying that when he lost his job at the White House “he also lost his mind.”

BANNON ON HANNITY: Mitch McConnell SHOULD RESIGN Tomorrow

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.20.17

Former White House senior advisor Steve Bannon stopped-by ‘Hannity’ Wednesday night, weighing-in on the recent Democrat victories in Virginia and New Jersey and calling on GOP Senators to get to work enacting President Trump’s agenda or face the consequences in 2018.

“Now we know that Hillary basically rigged and stole a primary. The evidence is overwhelming and incontrovertible. Then she spent the money, she controlled the DNC and they spent the money, and they paid for this phony Russian dossier,” said Sean. “Then we’ve got this whole issue of Uranium One.”

“Why would we ever allow Putin to control 20% of our Uranium?” he asked.

“What you’re seeing is that the opposition party media, the progressive left democrats, and corporatists are trying to nullify the 2016 election,” said Bannon.

“What you’re seeing is that the elites in this country don’t want the people to have a voice. They are trying to nullify the 2016 election. That’s why the entire Russian collusion thing is a joke,” he added. “I think a special counsel ought to be designated for Uranium One.”

“I’m to the point where I think Mitch McConnell to really bring unity to the Republican Party and get things done, I think Mitch McConnell ought to tender his resignation,” said Bannon.

BREAKING: Steve Bannon Out as Senior Presidential Advisor

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.20.17

Steve Bannon made national headlines this week, giving a full-throated and off-the-script interview with the American Prospect, where he referred to white supremacist protesters as “clowns” and directly contradicted President Trump’s position on North Korea.

“Until somebody solves the part of the equation that shows me that ten million people in Seoul don’t die in the first 30 minutes from conventional weapons, I don’t know what you’re talking about, there’s no military solution here, they got us,” said Bannon.

Political commentators have been questioning Bannon’s fate for months, as fellow republicans and some White House insiders pushed for the senior advisor’s exit. It remains unclear whether Trump’s senior aide was fired or whether he resigned.
