President Trump doubled-down on his immigration demands while speaking with reporters Tuesday afternoon, daring desperate Democrats to shut down the government if they’re unable or unwilling to deliver a bipartisan reform bill that deals with both DACA and border security.
The Commander-in-Chief addressed jouranlists after a high-level meeting aimed at tackling illegal immigrant crime organizations operating in the United States, particularly the deadly MS-13 street gang.
“Frankly, if we don’t change the legislation, if we don’t get rid of these loopholes where killers are allowed to come into our country and continue to kill… Gang members -we were just talking about MS-13- there are many gang members that we don’t even mention; If we don’t change it let’s have a shut down,” said the President.
“We’ll do a shut down. It’s worth it for our country. I’d love to see a shut down if we don’t get this stuff taken care of,” he added.
