A grieving father who lost his daughter in the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting is planning to sue the police officer who refused to enter the school during the massacre.
Andrew Pollack is poised to launch a legal battle against the Broward County Deputy who took up a “defensive position” as 19-year old Nikolas Cruz completed his rampage at the Parkland, Florida school.
Pollack, whose daughter Meadow was killed in the mass shooting, filed a “wrongful death” lawsuit Monday against Deputy Peterson, Nikolas Cruz, and other actors who were in a position to prevent the tragedy months before it occurred.
“I’m doing this because of the injustice of my daughter’s unnecessary death,” he told the Daily Caller.
“This guy could have ended it on the first floor,” he added, “Instead he let six more people die. My daughter would want me to speak up for her. The love I have for my daughter is unmeasurable.”
