CALIFORNIA CHAOS: Homeless Camps HALT TRAIN Traffic Across the State

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.17.18

The recent boom of makeshift homeless camps alongside California’s railroad tracks is creating a major headache for local commuters; slowing down train schedules and halting service due to unauthorized persons “trespassing” in the area.

According to Fox News, the “explosion” of tent villages across the state are frustrating residents and local authorities; prompting officials to issue an official “note” to passengers to explain delayed schedules and canceled service.

“The Capitol Corridor’s service in the past year, and particularly over the past six months, has not been up to the levels you are used to and have come to expect from us,” Managing Director David Kutrosky said in his note to riders.  “I know this is frustrating for you. It is frustrating, and unacceptable, for us as well.”

“It bears repeating, being on or alongside railroad tracks is not only unwise, but it is also illegal because technically that area, also called the ‘right of way,’ is owned by UP(Union Pacific),” Kutrosky added.

The explosion of homeless “tent towns” across the state have prompted a severe backlash against the encampments, with local governments in Orange County voting to dismantle the sites and relocate the homeless population to more permanent shelters.

CALIFORNIA CHAOS: GOP Rep. Proposes 'BORDER WALL' Between California and Arizona

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.21.18

A Republican congresswoman from Arizona proposed the construction of a “border wall” between her state and California; citing the ongoing chaos caused by the Golden State’s ‘sanctuary city’ policies and soaring crime rates.

Rep. Martha McSally made her surprising remarks while speaking at a round-table discussion at the White House Tuesday, saying Arizona residents need to protect themselves from California’s “dangerous policies.”

“As we look in Arizona, we often look into the dangers of the southern border,” said the congresswoman. “But if these dangerous policies continue out of California, we might need to build a wall between California and Arizona as well to keep these dangerous criminals out of our state.”

“[They can’t] provide sanctuary for these criminals and think that it’s only impacting California dangerously,” she added.

The state’s outrageous ‘sanctuary city’ policies were thrust into the national headlines again this week, when a small southern California town voted to officially reject the “unconstitutional” guidelines that prohibit law enforcement from cooperating with federal immigration agents.

CALIFORNIA CHAOS: Local Community FIGHTS BACK Against ‘Sanctuary’ TENT CITY

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.26.18

Local residents in southern California are fighting back against a two-mile long stretch of makeshift homeless shelters in Orange County; demanding officials crackdown on “human waste” and “used needles” that riddle the encampment, reports Fox News.

In stark contrast from local governments in Los Angeles and San Francisco, the Orange County authorities are beginning to clamp down on the tent city, describing the “illegal” housing as a major public health concern.

“It’s becoming part of the permanent landscape in those communities and there is no way we are going to allow Orange County land that is supposed to be used by residents to be occupied by the homeless,” said a member of the Orange County Board of Supervisors.

In response to public pressure, the county council cleared nearly 25 tons of trash, over 1,000 pounds of “human waste” and over 5,000 needles from the camp.

The ACLU and other human rights activists have denounced the move, filing a civil rights lawsuit to stop the county’s crackdown after the decision was officially approved by the council.

‘That isn’t going to happen in our county. It’s not going to be our skid row,” added the Orange County supervisor.
