‘CARAVAN’ DENIED: Migrants ‘Remain DEFIANT’ After Border Officials REFUSE Entry

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.30.18

Hundreds of Central American migrants openly defied US immigration officials Monday; vowing to enter the United States despite federal authorities’ insistence the border would remain closed.

Over 200 migrants refused to leave the area just across the US border at San Diego; setting up tents and other temporary shelters with the hopes of successfully filing for asylum and gaining legal-resident status in the United States.

“Members of the caravan said they would not give up, setting up a possible showdown with the U.S,” writes Fox News. “Irineo Mujica of Pueblos Sin Fronteras, the group organizing the caravan, says the U.S. refusal to process the migrants is a ‘farce’ aimed at avoiding having to deal with the Central American asylum seekers.”

“We are not a country of white nationalists. There’s a reason we have the Statue of Liberty. We are a country that goes to war to protect the human rights of others,” said one U.S. attorney representing the migrants.

“We’ve created these situations in Central America. It is our responsibility to help protect the victims that we created,” she added.

‘CARAVAN’ CROSSING? Migrant Group ARRIVES at US Border

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.26.18

Hundreds of migrants from Central America arrived at the US-Mexico border Wednesday night; setting the stage for a looming showdown with President Trump who pledged to refuse entry should the workers attempt to enter the United States.

According to Reuters, the migrants began streaming into Tijuana this week; vowing to cross into California starting Saturday morning.

“The wall doesn’t look that tall,” said a 15-year-old girl from Honduras. “I really want to cross it.”

“Thanks to god we’re here,” added a 34-year old worker from Guatemala -accompanied by two children.

Earlier this month, President Trump demanded Mexico crackdown on the migrant ‘caravan’ as it worked its way through Mexico towards the United States.

While Mexican authorities did prevent some workers from making their way towards the border -with initial estimates being upwards of 1500 people- it remains unclear how federal authorities will handle the asylum seekers.

TRUMP GOES NUCLEAR: The President Tells GOP to 'GO NUCLEAR’ On Border Wall

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.02.18

President Trump doubled-down on his all-out war with liberal lawmakers over immigration policy this week; demanding GOP Senators go “nuclear” and change congressional rules to fully fund his proposed border wall.

The President unloaded on the left-wing legislators on social media Monday morning, saying the GOP “must go to Nuclear option to pass tough laws now.”

“Border Patrol Agents are not allowed to properly do their job at the Border because of ridiculous liberal (Democrat) laws like Catch & Release. Getting more dangerous. ‘Caravans’ coming. Republicans must go to Nuclear Option to pass tough laws NOW. NO MORE DACA DEAL!” tweeted Trump.

“Congress must immediately pass Border Legislation, use Nuclear Option if necessary, to stop the massive inflow of Drugs and People. Border Patrol Agents (and ICE) are GREAT, but the weak Dem laws don’t allow them to do their job. Act now Congress, our country is being stolen!” he added.

The so-called “nuclear option” would amend Senate procedural rules; allowing a simple 50-vote majority to pass legislation instead of the currently required 60-vote “super majority” that permits the minority party to effectively hold-up bills indefinitely.
