CNN’s senior White House correspondent Jim Acosta had a strange explanation for why he lost his audio and video connections with his studio Tuesday; suggesting the White House may have intentionally cut his live-feed during the President’s joint press conference with Baltic Leaders.
“The president was egging on the president of Latvia to call on a Baltic reporter, not one of the U.S. reporters who were clamoring to get that final que-,” said Acosta before losing the connection.
“I think we’ve re-established communications with Jim Acosta, our chief White House correspondent,” Blitzer said minutes later. “Jim, you were making a point when all of the sudden we lost that connection. Go ahead.”
“That’s right, Wolf. We won’t read into why we lost connection there just a few moments ago,” Acosta said, implying White House officials may have intentionally cut the feed.

ACOSTA GOES GLOBAL: The CNN Reporter HUMILIATES HIMSELF at International Conference
CNN’s senior White House correspondent took his anti-Trump road show onto the international stage Thursday, following the Commander-in-Chief to Europe to harass the President over his “America First” foreign policy.
The President was speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland this week, touting his “America First” agenda while speaking with foreign leaders and business executives from the world’s largest corporations.
After Trump says of Davos “It’s been really successful…” I asked him how he can be America First if he’s rubbing elbows with big wigs. He did not respond. Video from @ElizLanders pic.twitter.com/jPWWRfTLir

“We want great prosperity, and we want great peace, and that really is the message. A lot of people are coming back to the United States for jobs, we’re seeing tremendous investment and today’s been a very exciting day,” said Trump while exiting the high-level meetings.
Acosta pounced within seconds, nonsensically asking Trump how he plans to advance his agenda while speaking with foreign leaders.
“Mr. President, can you be ‘America First’ but also be rubbing elbows with all these big wigs?” shouted Acosta as the President walked away.
ACOSTA'S EDUCATION: Mick Mulvaney SCHOOLS Jim Acosta Using SIMPLE MATH
White House Budget Director Mick Mulvaney shot down CNN senior White House correspondent Jim Acosta during the daily press briefing on Friday, schooling the reporter with simple math on why Democrats are needed to keep the government fully funded.
Mulvaney was taking questions from reporters when Acosta pounced on the budget director’s use of the term “Schumer Shutdown” to describe Democratic opposition to passing a short-term spending bill.
“How can it be the ‘Schumer Shutdown’ when Republicans control the White House, the House and the Senate,” asked a bewildered Acosta.
“Come on you know the answer to that as well as anybody,” Mulvaney fired-back. “I have to laugh when people say that […] You know as well as anybody that it takes 60 votes in the Senate to pass an appropriations bill.”
“You know that, right?” pressed Mulvaney. “So, if you only have 51 votes in the Senate, then you have to have Democrat support to fund the government. So that’s the answer to your question.”
