President Trump pledged to completely close the “entire southern border” Friday; doubling-down on his budget fight with congressional Democrats who flat-out refuse to fund his border wall between the United States and Mexico.
“We will be forced to close the Southern Border entirely if the Obstructionist Democrats do not give us the money to finish the Wall & also change the ridiculous immigration laws that our Country is saddled with. Hard to believe there was a Congress & President who would approve!” tweeted the president.

House Minority Leader and likely Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi dismissed the president’s proposal this week; saying any funding for a border wall would be a “non-starter” for congressional Democrats.
CNN SHUTDOWN: Huckabee Sanders SILENCES Jim Acosta on LIVE TV
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders totally silenced CNN correspondent Jim Acosta during her daily briefing Monday; prompting the liberal reporter to complain on camera over his networks treatment by the Trump administration.
The Press Secretary was wrapping up her press briefing this week when she faced a last-minute flurry of questions; saying “We’re continuing to focus on the things that President Trump campaigned on. We’re excited about what we’ve done and where we’re going.”
Sanders left the podium and headed for the exits when Acosta pounced, saying “Sarah, can I ask a question?”
“Sarah, that’s the third briefing you’ve not taken a question from CNN. Do you expect the Justice Department to enforce all subpoenas, Sarah?” he continued to ask.
Acosta later complained on social media, writing “Third press briefing in a row that @PressSec did not take a question from CNN. #courage.”

CNN SHUTDOWN: Sanders SILENCES April Ryan Over 'RESIGNATION' Question
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders shot-down CNN’s April Ryan Tuesday, telling the reporter her question was “absolutely ridiculous” after she asked if President Trump was considering resigning from office.
“The President said yesterday he was complying, they turned over a million documents. If he was complying with the investigation why was there a search warrant?” asked Ryan.
“This doesn’t have anything to do with the President… When it comes to matters of the special counsel and dealing with the President we’ve been fully cooperative,” fired-back Sanders.
“With all of this turmoil, particularly this last week, has the President at any time thought about stepping down, before or now?” pressed the CNN White House correspondent.
“No, and I think that’s an absolutely ridiculous question,” concluded the Press Secretary.
