Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced Tuesday night his plan to call a full Senate vote on the Democrats’ recently unveiled ‘Green New Deal,’ demanding liberal lawmakers go “on the record” regarding the massive government expansion project.
McConnell was speaking with reporters at the US Capitol when he confirmed the vote; saying he’s “noted with great interest” Rep. Ocasio-Cortez’ newest proposal.
The "Green New Deal" will hit the Senate floor for a vote, according to @senatemajldr.

“I’ve noted with great interest the ‘Green New Deal.’ We’re going to be voting on that in the Senate; giving everybody an opportunity to go on record and see how they feel about the ‘Green New Deal,’” said McConnell.
