House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes slammed Robert Mueller’s never-ending investigation into Russian collusion this week; saying he’s seen “no credible evidence” behind the probe as it enters its second year.
The congressman was speaking with Fox News when he was asked to weigh-in on the special counsel’s months-long probe into the 2016 election; confirming he’s yet to see “any credible evidence or intelligence” that warranted the investigation.

“We have yet to see any credible evidence or intelligence that led to the opening of this investigation,” said Nunes.
Nunes has been calling on the Department of Justice and the FBI to release material over why they launched the investigation in the first place; saying the possibility of an “inside source” within the Trump campaign would be severely embarrassing for the agency.
“I think what it really means, I think it will look badly on the Department of Justice and the FBI on how they conducted this investigation,” he added.
