DOJ DISGRACE: Rosenstein Vows to ‘CLEAN UP’ DOJ after Scathing IG Report

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.28.18

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein vowed Thursday to “clean up” the Department of Justice after his Inspector General found anti-Trump abuse throughout the agency ahead of the 2016 race for the White House.

Rosenstein was speaking alongside FBI Director Christopher Wray before the House Judiciary Committee when he pledged to clampdown on political bias and wrongdoing at the Department.

“Everyone knew about some of those departures as they occurred. We learned about others through the internal investigation, such as leaking to the news media, and political bias,” Rosenstein said. “We need to correct errors, hold wrongdoers accountable, and deter future violations.”

“As with most things in Washington, the real work is not done on television and it is not all done by me,” Rosenstein deflected. “Trump administration officials are meeting and talking to your staffs every day to accommodate requests and produce relevant information to this committee, other committees and several Senate committees.”

DAY OF RECKONING: Republicans Ask Rosenstein for Names of ‘EVERYONE’ on Mueller’s Team

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.25.18

At least nine GOP lawmakers asked Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to hand over the names of “everyone” working on Robert Mueller’s probe Monday, saying they were “disturbed” over the Democrat-packed investigation.

According to Fox News, the Republican legislators demanded the information from Rosenstein just days after the Inspector General report showed widespread bias throughout the DOJ and the FBI both before and after the 2016 race for the White House.

“We know that these biases were shared among multiple people at the FBI and could be easily uncovered by Mr. Mueller with simple vetting,” the letter says. “These individuals should not have been given an opportunity to influence – directly or indirectly – this special counsel investigation.”

“Congress’s constitutional oversight gives us the responsibility to know … whether other members of Mr. Mueller’s team harbor political biases and have conflicts of interest,” the letter concludes. “These investigators endanger our ability to uphold justice.”

DOJ DISASTER: GOP Rep. Says SESSIONS, ROSENSTEIN ‘In Contempt’

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.11.18

Rep. Mark Meadows believes Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein “should be held in contempt” over their efforts to stonewall the House Intelligence Committee’s Russia probe.

The GOP legislator was speaking with reporters Wednesday when he was asked to weigh-in on the President’s rocky relationship with Rosenstein, adding, “It’s members of Congress who have a bigger problem with Rod Rosenstein.”

“He is not giving us the documents, and he is not doing his job… If he is not going to do the job, he needs to go and find one that he will do, and so the frustration with the AG and the deputy AG is probably more of a focus of Congress, and it probably makes the president’s dissatisfaction pale in comparison,” said Meadows.

“They have not complied with the subpoena. They should be held in contempt if they can’t get it right,” he added.
