The recently finished report from the DOJ’s Inspector General regarding the bureau’s botched probe into Hillary Clinton’s email server is expected to make big waves when released, with initial reports saying the document rips FBI officials for mishandling the investigation.
According to Fox News, those who have seen a “glimpse” of the IG’s report say the material harshly criticizes the DOJ’s probe into Clinton; particularly their “inactivity” when “sitting on Clinton’s emails” for months.
“It’s just one piece of the comprehensive report that Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz has compiled looking into the FBI and DOJ’s conduct during the Hillary Clinton email investigation. The report is expected to blast former FBI Director James Comey specifically for “not moving fast enough” while sifting through thousands of documents related to Clinton’s use of a private email server.
