FIRE AND FIZZLE: Michael Wolff CANCELS EVENTS After DISASTROUS TV Appearances

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.20.18

Michael Wolff’s ‘bombshell’ exposé “Fire and Fury” continued to crash and burn this week, with multiple reports of canceled events throughout the country due to lackluster ticket sales and negative coverage.

The explosive author announced his 18-stop book tour earlier this year; outlining the speaking engagements that were to extend into late-spring. This week, the promotional company canceled events in Portland, Los Angeles, San Jose, and possibly Toronto and Denver.

Despite the media’s initial obsession over the largely-debunked work highlighting the inner-workings of President Trump’s White House, excitement over the book waned in recent weeks after a series of disastrous television appearances.

Weeks ago, Wolff shamelessly “faked” audio difficulties during an interview with Australian television after the host asked him if he owed the President an apology over his baseless claims he was having an affair while residing in the White House.

“I can’t hear you. I’m not getting anything. I’m not getting anything,” said Wolff.

“We were hearing each other well just before,” fired-back the anchor. “I guess the interview is over.”

BUSTED: Author ADMITS Sections of ‘Fire and Fury’ TOTALLY UNTRUE

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.05.18

The author behind a recent anti-Trump exposé admits in the book’s prologue that vast sections of his work were likely untrue, saying several of his sources “lied to him” and insider accounts “flatly contradicted those of others.”

According to Business Insider, Michael Wolff admits that different accounts of the early days of the Trump Presidency described in “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House” were false, urging readers to “make up their own minds.”

In the book’s prologue, the author writes, “Many of the accounts of what has happened in the Trump White House are in conflict with one another; many, in Trumpian fashion, are baldly untrue. These conflicts, and that looseness with the truth, if not with reality itself, are an elemental thread of the book.”

“Sometimes I have let the players offer their versions, in turn allowing the reader to judge them,” he adds. “In other instances I have, through a consistency in the accounts and through sources I have come to trust, settled on a version of events I believe to be true.”

“The book itself, reviewed by Business Insider from a copy acquired prior to its Friday publication, is not always clear about what level of confidence the author has in any particular assertion,” writes the article.

CRYIN’ WOLFF: ‘Fire and Fury’ Author FAKES TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES on LIVE TV

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.26.18

“Fire and Fury” author Michael Wolff flat-out refused to answer questions surrounding his baseless allegations that President Trump was having an affair inside the White House; going so far as to fake technical difficulties when asked about his bogus assertion.

Wolff was speaking with an Australian morning news program when he was pressed on wild claims he’s made about the Commander-in-Chief in the aftermath of his book’s publication.

“You said during a TV interview just last month that you’re absolutely sure that Donald Trump is currently having an affair while President behind the back of the First Lady. Just last week you back-flipped,” said the ‘Today’ host. “Do you owe the President and the First Lady an apology?”

“I can’t hear you. I’m not getting anything. I’m not getting anything,” said Wolff, after experiencing absolutely no technical problems during the previous five minutes of conversation.

“We were hearing each other well just before,” fired-back the anchor. “I guess the interview is over.”
