FLASHBACK: Adam Schiff Called for FISA 'TRANSPARENCY' on Russian TV in 2013

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.06.18

Leading Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff hasn’t pulled any punches on his vicious attacks against House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes’ decision to release the controversial FISA memo last week; conveniently forgetting his calls for “greater FISA transparency’ on a Russian-owned television network in 2013.

Schiff made a largely-forgettable appearance on the Kremlin-backed cable network ‘RT America’ in 2013, where the liberal legislator called for more “transparency” at the FISA courts so that the “American people can understand what is being done in their name and in the name of national security.”

“I think this can be accomplished while also maintaining sources and methods, and not compromising some of the very real national security concerns at stake,” he added.

Schiff’s comments from less than five years ago are in striking contrast to his fiery rhetoric in recent days, where the left-wing lawmaker claimed the memo’s release “damaged national security” and made US citizens less likely to report terrorists to the FBI.

A NEW LOW: Schiff Claims RUSSIA Pushed SECOND AMENDMENT so AMERICANS Can ‘Kill Each Other’

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.06.18

Rep. Adam Schiff took his all-out obsession with Russian collusion to a new level Monday evening, breathlessly suggesting the Kremlin promoted the Second Amendment on Facebook to help Americans “kill each other” during the 2016 presidential election.

“We can see for example on Facebook, so graphically what I was mentioning earlier; the multiple aims of the Russians in their interference in our elections. On Facebook you had the content that was clearly anti-Hillary and you had the content that was very pro-Trump,” said Schiff.

“Of course, they parroted Black Lives Matter to try to broaden the racial divide in this country. Fascinatingly they also trumpeted the Second Amendment. The Russians are very big fans of our Second Amendment,” he added.

“The Russians would be very thrilled if we would be doing nothing but killing each other every day, and sadly we are,” said the liberal lawmaker.

SERIOUSLY? Schiff Says FISA MEMO Will PREVENT Americans From Reporting Terrorists

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.05.18

Leading Democrats are desperately spinning the recently declassified FISA memo to justify their outright opposition to its release, with Rep. Adam Schiff claiming the documents disclosure will make Americans apprehensive about reporting potential terrorists living next door.

The ranking Democrat slammed House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes’ decision to release the material Monday, saying it would make US citizens who notice potentially dangerous activity reluctant to report their suspicions to the FBI.

“It’s impeaching the FBI, and the problem with this, and this is, I think, at the heart of the department’s concern, is if you have a neighbor who’s buying fertilizer, lots of fertilizer, but has no yard, and you have concerns about it, and you want to call the FBI, you’re now going to wonder, is that FBI going to hold my name in confidence or this information in confidence?” said Schiff.

“What if this becomes politicized?” Schiff added. “Sources are going to dry up because of what the Republicans on this committee are doing now. There is a compact between our committee and the intelligence community,” he added.
