HANNITY: Sessions Should UN-RECUSE Himself Immediately

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.31.18

Speaking during his opening monologue on ‘Hannity’ Wednesday night, Sean called on Attorney General Jeff Sessions to un-recuse himself immediately; saying his decision to recuse himself last March continues to damage the country to this day.

“In early March of last year, Attorney General Jeff Sessions had just been appointed by President Trump. He vowed to uphold the law of the land. Without skipping a beat Sessions stunned President Trump and decided to recuse himself from the single biggest case facing the country,” said Sean.

“We have the country’s top lawyer immediately recusing himself from the single-most pressing legal case without any prior warning to President Trump or those that confirmed him,” he added.

“What Sessions did is so harmful, the ramifications so massive, his decision that day is playing out today and hurting the country,” said Hannity. “Why didn’t he tell anyone the likelihood he was going to recuse himself before he was appointed?”

DOJ DISASTER: GOP Rep. Says SESSIONS, ROSENSTEIN ‘In Contempt’

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.11.18

Rep. Mark Meadows believes Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein “should be held in contempt” over their efforts to stonewall the House Intelligence Committee’s Russia probe.

The GOP legislator was speaking with reporters Wednesday when he was asked to weigh-in on the President’s rocky relationship with Rosenstein, adding, “It’s members of Congress who have a bigger problem with Rod Rosenstein.”

“He is not giving us the documents, and he is not doing his job… If he is not going to do the job, he needs to go and find one that he will do, and so the frustration with the AG and the deputy AG is probably more of a focus of Congress, and it probably makes the president’s dissatisfaction pale in comparison,” said Meadows.

“They have not complied with the subpoena. They should be held in contempt if they can’t get it right,” he added.

ADAM’S ADMISSION: Schiff ADMITS McCabe’s FIRING ‘May Be Justified’

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.19.18

Ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee Adam Schiff acknowledged Sunday that Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ decision to suddenly fire FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe “may be justified,” seconds before calling the move “tainted.”

Schiff was speaking with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos when he was asked to comment on Sessions’ abrupt removal of the senior FBI official just days before he was due to retire.

“On Andrew McCabe, does the fact that the Inspector General did find that he lacked candor in some of his responses, and that his firing was recommended by career FBI officials. Does that suggest that his firing was or may be justified?” asked Stephanopoulos.

“His firing may be justified, there’s no way for us to know at this point,” admitted Schiff. “Even though it may have been justified, it can also be tainted.”

“I think the President badgering his Attorney General, his urging that he be fired before his pension could vest, and the fact that McCabe and every other Comey associates […] every one of them has been targeted by the administration,” he added.
