President Trump flipped the script -literally- during a panel discussion in West Virginia Thursday; physically tossing aside his prepared remarks and holding a casual briefing after calling his written comments “too boring.”
The President was speaking with industry leaders when he veered away from his prepared script, saying, “This was going to be my remarks. It would have taken two minutes, but what hell.” The Commander-in-Chief then tossed the papers into the air.
“That would have been a little boring. Little boring,” he said. “I’m reading off the first paragraph. I said, ‘This is boring. Come on. We have to tell it like it is.'”
