HOLLYWEIRD: Rob Reiner GOES NUCLEAR, Calls for ‘LAST BATTLE’ of US Civil War

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.22.18

Hollywood director and comedian Rob Reiner shared his “expert opinion” on the root cause of the ‘Schumer Shutdown’ over the weekend, saying the federal government closure was a direct result of the GOP’s “racism” and calling for the “last big battle” of the American Civil War.

The liberal movie-maker issued his battle cry on social media Sunday afternoon, breathlessly asserting that the government shutdown was somehow linked to the Republican party’s inherent “racism” and fear of “the browning of America.”

“Make no mistake, this shutdown boils down to one thing: RACISM. GOP frightened to death of the browning of America. They will lose this last big battle of the Civil War. Diversity is our strength,” he tweeted.

The pushback against Reiner’s comments on twitter was immediate, with supporters of the President blasting the Hollywood icon for his baseless claims and obsessions with skin color, asking “If diversity is our strength, why do you despise our laws and Republicans?”

“Diversity claims are utterly rediculous when you violently protest anyone who opposes your point of view. If diversity is our strength, why do you despise our laws and Republicans? Skin color and race is only relevant to you. Legal immigration is awesome and race & color blind,” posted one user.

HOLLYWEIRD: Matt Damon DEFENDS Sexual Predators, Cites ‘Spectrum' of Abuse

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.15.17

Hollywood celebrity Matt Damon finally opened up about the sexual scandals swirling around actors, politicians, and media pundits during a much-maligned interview this week; seemingly defending the growing list of sexual predators he’s been associated with for decades.

“I do believe that there’s a spectrum of behavior”

According to media website Vulture, the A-list actor was speaking with Peter Travers when he was pressed on his relationships with Harvey Weinstein, Ben Affleck, and others accused of widespread sexual misconduct.

His response was not what most people expected.

“I do believe that there’s a spectrum of behavior,” said Damon. “And we’re going to have to figure — you know, there’s a difference between, you know, patting someone on the butt and rape or child molestation, right? Both of those behaviors need to be confronted and eradicated without question, but they shouldn’t be conflated, right?”

Damon went on to defend multiple alleged predators, including comedian Louis CK and disgraced Sen. Al Franken.

“I don’t know Louis C.K.. I’ve never met him. I’m a fan of his, but I don’t imagine he’s going to do those things again. You know what I mean?” asked Damon.

“I personally would have preferred if they had an Ethics Committee investigation, you know what I mean?” said the actor regarding Franken. “It’s like at what point — you know, we’re so energized to kind of get retribution, I think.”

HOLLYWEIRD: Meryl Streep ATTACKS Melania, Ivanka Trump for Sex Scandal Silence

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.03.18

Hollywood icon Meryl Streep bizarrely lashed-out at the First Family during an interview with the New York Times on Wednesday; demanding they speak-out over the ongoing sexual harassment scandals sweeping the nation as questions swirl around her own relationship with Harvey Weinstein.

The film star sat down with recent co-star Tom Hanks to promote their upcoming film when she was pressed on her own silence regarding disgraced studio executive Harvey Weinstein, whose notorious history of sexual misconduct was well-known throughout the industry for decades.

“What do you make of the fact, though, that people are waiting for you to speak?” asked the Times.

“I don’t want to hear about the silence of me. I want to hear about the silence of Melania Trump. I want to hear from her. She has so much that’s valuable to say. And so does Ivanka. I want her to speak now,” fired-back Streep.

“I have experienced things, mostly when I was young and pretty. Nobody comes on to me [now]. So I wouldn’t have had that more recently,” she added. “But back in the day, when everybody was doing cocaine, there was a lot of [expletive] behavior that was inexcusable. But now that people are older, and more sober, there has to be forgiveness, and that’s the way I feel about it.”
