HOLLYWOOD HYPOCRITE: Action Movie Star Says ‘GUNS’ Are the ‘PROBLEM’

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.01.18

Just days after suggesting Hollywood elites should stay out of the national debate on school safety, A-list actress Jennifer Lawrence violated her own rule; saying “guns” are the problem behind the recent mass shooting at a Florida high school.

Lawrence was promoting her upcoming action movie ‘Red Sparrow’ when she was pressed on Hollywood’s double-standard; with liberal celebrities routinely slamming the nation’s gun laws while promoting hyper-violent films commonly featuring firearms.

“I think that, you know, we’re the entertainment industry. At some point, there has to be a separation between politics and the entertainment industry or we’re going to suffer,” she said. “This is, it’s an art. And it’s an art to entertain and, as an industry, we will suffer and people need to take that responsibility on themselves.”

“I think the problems is guns not the entertainment industry,” added the Hunger Games star.

Lawrence’s comments are in stark contrast to statements she made just this week, telling an interviewer that actors should largely avoid hot-button issues.

“I’ve always thought that it was a good idea to stay out of politics,” she said.

LATE NIGHT LECTURE: Jimmy Kimmel MOCKS ‘MENTALLY ILL’ Trump After Florida Shooting

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.16.18

Late-night comedian Jimmy Kimmel took his war against President Trump to a new level Thursday night, slamming the Commander-in-Chief as “mentally ill” following the devastating school shooting in Parkland, Florida.

The liberal comic viciously attacked the President while commenting on the tragedy that took place earlier this week, when seventeen individuals lost their lives after a 19-year old former student opened fire at a local high school.

“You’ve literally done nothing,” said Kimmel. “Actually, you’ve done worse than nothing. You like to say this is a mental health issue. One of your very first acts as president, Mr. Trump, was to actually roll back the regulations that were designed to keep firearms out of the hands of the mentally ill.”

“You did that. Your party voted to repeal the mandates on coverage for mental health. So, I agree, this is a mental illness issue, because if you don’t think we need to do something about it, you’re obviously mentally ill,” he added.

POLITICIZING A TRAGEDY: Liberal Senator BLAMES CONGRESS for Florida Shooting Within Minutes

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.14.18

Within minutes of a devastating mass shooting in Broward County, Florida that shook the nation, liberal Senator Chris Murphy openly blamed the tragedy on Congressional “inaction,” despite having little to no information on the incident, the shooter, or any details surrounding the event.

“This happens nowhere else other than the United States of America, this epidemic of mass slaughter, the scourge of school shooting after school shooting,” said Murphy on the Senate floor.

“It only happens here not because of coincidence, not because of bad luck, but as a consequence of our inaction,” he added. “We are responsible for a level of mass atrocity that happens in this country with zero parallel anywhere else […] As a parent, it scares me to death that this body doesn’t take seriously the safety of my children.”

Murphy’s blame-game comes mere moments after police took the suspect in custody near the local high school where the shooting took place.

Local authorities have yet to release official details, but confirm there are multiple people dead and many injured.
