ICYMI: BRAIN FREEZE: Scientists Say ‘GLOBAL WARMING’ Now COOLING the Planet

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.27.18

Climate scientists and global warming alarmists are shifting their attitudes when it comes to man-made pollutants effects on the environment following months of frigid temperatures; baselessly claiming that “global warming” is -in fact- “cooling” the planet.

The new report, titled “Cleaning Up Air Pollution May Strengthen Global Warming,” was published in the Scientific American journal this week, asserting that man’s impact on Earth’s overall climate may actually be reducing global temperatures, not raising them.

“Pollution in the atmosphere is having an unexpected consequence, scientists say—it’s helping to cool the climate, masking some of the global warming that’s occurred so far,” writes the author.

“That means efforts worldwide to clean up the air may cause an increase in warming, as well as other climate effects, as this pollution disappears,” the journal adds.

The new findings come on the heels of another bombshell climate report, stating that the “doomsday scenarios” predicted by scientists for decades were “not accurate.”

For weeks, global warming advocates have been attempting to spin the cold-snap facing millions of Americans as somehow related to global warming.

“It’s bitter cold in parts of the US, but climate scientist Dr. Michael Mann explains that’s exactly what we should expect from the climate crisis,” tweeted Al Gore earlier this month.
