LIBERAL ADMISSION: Obama Aide RESPONDS After Phony Trump Smear

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.29.18

Former President Barack Obama’s speechwriter and aide finally responded to allegations he used a dated image to suggest President Trump was separating children from their parents along the United States’ southern border with Mexico, saying he incorrectly tweeted a story “multiple journalists were posting.”

Top Obama staffer Jon Favreau was forced to issue the correction Tuesday afternoon, saying he “realized his error” shortly after media sources pointed out an image he used to attack the Trump administration was actually taken in 2014; deep into Obama’s second term in office.

“I tweeted a story that multiple journalists were posting. My mistake for not checking the date first. A few minutes later, when I realized my error, I deleted the tweet and immediately tweeted the correct info and date of the picture,” he posted.

“To learn more about what happened during the 2014 crisis, listen to this excellent interview with Cecilia Munoz, who helped lead Obama’s immigration policy,” he added.

BUSTED! Dems Using Pics of ‘Children in Cages’ to FALSELY Smear Trump

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.29.18

The mainstream media and prominent Democrats were caught red-handed over the Memorial Day weekend, citing an image of immigrant “children in cages” and slamming the President’s policies; despite the fact the photos took place during Obama’s second term in office.

The President himself weighed in on the false photos, saying “Democrats mistakenly tweet 2014 pictures from Obama’s term showing children from the Border in steel cages. They thought it was recent pictures in order to make us look bad, but backfires. Dems must agree to Wall and new Border Protection for good of country…Bipartisan Bill!”

Liberals across the country falsely used the image to imply the President was separating migrant children from their parents as they crossed into the United States.

Former President Barack Obama’s speechwriter Jon Favreau even commented on the image in a now-deleted tweet, saying “This is happening right now, and the only debate that matters is how we force our government to get these kids back to their families as fast as humanly possible.”

HELL FREEZES OVER: NYT Defends TRUMP Over Phony Immigration Smears

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.29.18

The New York Times set the record straight Monday over reports the Trump administration had separated immigrant children from their parents at the border; publishing an article that flatly refutes recent Democratic claims of the administration’s “horrible laws.”

Liberal lawmakers pounced on the White House during the holiday weekend over multiple reports that the administration had “lost track” of over 1,000 Central American migrant children; yet failed to disclose it was most likely a result of their sponsors failing to respond to a government survey.

“Did the Trump administration separate nearly 1,500 immigrant children from their parents at the border, and then lose track of them? No,” writes the author.  “The government did realize last year that it lost track of 1,475 migrant children it had placed with sponsors in the United States, according to testimony before a Senate subcommittee last month. But those children had arrived alone at the Southwest border — without their parents.”

“From these calls, officials learned that 6,075 children remained with their sponsors. Twenty-eight had run away, five had been removed from the United States and 52 had relocated to live with a nonsponsor. The rest were unaccounted for, giving rise to the 1,475 number. It is possible that some of the adult sponsors simply chose not to respond to the agency,” adds the author.
