LIBERAL LOGIC: John Legend Blames MS-13 VIOLENCE on ‘American Policy’

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.18.18

Music icon John Legend weighed-in on President Trump’s harsh rhetoric towards criminal MS-13 gang members Thursday night; bizarrely blaming the drug cartel’s atrocities on ‘American policy’ in the region.

The liberal celebrity slammed the Commander-in-Chief’s tough talk on MS-13 during a roundtable discussion with California lawmakers this week, calling gang members residing in American prisons “animals” who should face deportation.

“It’s much more honest and challenging to realize they were all babies once and think about what in society, their home life, etc took them from baby to violent gang member. And then to think about collective action we could take to mitigate these conditions,” tweeted Legend.

“And we should particularly interrogate the role of American policy in helping to make MS-13 the organization it is now,” he added.

HUCKABEATING: Sarah Sanders UNLOADS on ‘LIBERALS’ Out to ‘DEFEND MS-13’

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.17.18

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders slammed liberal legislators and the mainstream media Thursday for routinely misrepresenting the President’s comments on MS-13 gang members, saying the term “animals” doesn’t go far enough.

“The President was very clearly referring to MS-13 gang members who entered the country illegally and whose deportations are hamstrung by our laws. This is one of the most vicious and deadly gangs,” said Sanders.

Press Secretary on "Animals"

"If the media and liberals want to defend MS-13, they're more than welcome to. Frankly, I don't think the term that the president used was strong enough. MS-13 has done heinous acts. It took an animal to stab a man 100 times and decapitate him and rip his heart out. It took an animal to beat a woman they were sex-trafficking with a bat 28 times, indenting part of her body. And it took an animal to kidnap, drug, and rape a 14-year-old Houston girl. Frankly, I think that the term 'animal' doesn't go far enough." – Press Secretary Sarah Sanders

KELLYANNE: Schumer, Others Owe Trump ‘An Apology’ Over MS-13 Remarks

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.17.18

White House senior advisor Kellyanne Conway slammed those critical of President Trump’s use of the term “animals” to describe MS-13 gang members Thursday, saying politicians who “rushed to judgment” owe Trump and gang violence victims “an apology.”

Conway called out the liberal lawmakers on social media, saying they took his words out of context to make it appear as if he was referring to all immigrants as “animals,” not specifically MS-13 gang members.

“Others who rushed to judgment to get the President rather than to get the story owe @POTUS – and the grieving loved ones who have lost family members to gang violence – an apology,” she tweeted.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer slammed the President on twitter Wednesday night, comparing “our great grandparents” to MS-13 gang members; apparently unaware the President was referring to jailed criminals residing in American prisons.
