McCABE'S MESS: DOJ Submits ‘CRIMINAL REFERRAL’ to US Attorney's Office

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.19.18

The Inspector General of the Department of Justice sent a “criminal referral” to the US attorney’s office regarding former Deputy Director Andrew McCabe’s violation of the law when he misled federal investigators.

According to the Washington Post, the complaint states the former bureau boss “repeatedly misled” authorities when questioned over his role in Hillary Clinton’s botched email probe and other issues.

“The Justice Department inspector general referred its finding that former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe repeatedly misled investigators who were examining a media disclosure to the top federal prosecutor in D.C. to determine whether McCabe should be charged with a crime, according to people familiar with the matter,” writes the Post.

The criminal complaint comes just hours after GOP members of Congress sent their own “referral” to the Justice Department surrounding former Obama aides and their role in using the ‘Trump Dossier’ to obtain FISA warrants.

ADAM’S ADMISSION: Schiff ADMITS McCabe’s FIRING ‘May Be Justified’

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.19.18

Ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee Adam Schiff acknowledged Sunday that Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ decision to suddenly fire FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe “may be justified,” seconds before calling the move “tainted.”

Schiff was speaking with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos when he was asked to comment on Sessions’ abrupt removal of the senior FBI official just days before he was due to retire.

“On Andrew McCabe, does the fact that the Inspector General did find that he lacked candor in some of his responses, and that his firing was recommended by career FBI officials. Does that suggest that his firing was or may be justified?” asked Stephanopoulos.

“His firing may be justified, there’s no way for us to know at this point,” admitted Schiff. “Even though it may have been justified, it can also be tainted.”

“I think the President badgering his Attorney General, his urging that he be fired before his pension could vest, and the fact that McCabe and every other Comey associates […] every one of them has been targeted by the administration,” he added.

BOMBSHELL REPORT: FBI’s McCabe Behind CLINTON INVESTIGATION Leaks in 2016

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.02.18

Former Deputy Director of the FBI Andrew McCabe was reportedly behind the illegal leaks regarding Hillary Clinton’s ongoing email investigation in 2016, releasing sensitive material to the Wall Street Journal ahead of the US presidential election.

According to a bombshell story in the New York Times, an upcoming report from the DOJ’s Inspector General is expected to blame McCabe for the unprecedented amount of leaks originating in the bureau ahead of Election Day.

“A Justice Department review is expected to criticize the former F.B.I. deputy director, Andrew G. McCabe, for authorizing the disclosure of information about a continuing investigation to journalists, according to four people familiar with the inquiry,” writes the Times.

“It is unclear whether the inspector general will identify others who spoke about the Clinton investigation. But Mr. McCabe is by far the most prominent subject,” the article adds.

The revelation comes as the FBI enters another month marred in controversy.

The bureau has been the focus of Congressional investigators for weeks following Rep. Devin Nunes’ explosive FISA memo last month; alleging the agency used Clinton-financed material to spy on senior Trump associates.
