MURDER CAPITAL: London Mayor Blames STABBING SPREE on 'Budget Cuts'

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.05.18

London Mayor Sadiq Khan finally spoke-out on the rash of murders sweeping the British capital Thursday, saying he was “angered and heartbroken” over the spike in violence but blamed the stabbing spree on “government cuts.”

The mayor issued a press release after local politicians and residents demanded action on the rise in violence throughout London; with the UK capital’s murder rate topping 50 deaths and pulling ahead of New York City’s crime statistics for the first time in recorded history.

“As the father of two teenagers daughters I worry as a dad, and that’s why we have to make sure we grapple with this problem – but I can’t solve it by myself,” said Khan.

“I have been saying to the Government that it’s not sustainable to make the level of cuts they have been making to London,” he said later in an interview. “In the last seven years we have lost £700 million from the policing budget. My message to the Government is please work with us to solve this national problem.”

LONDON FALLING: Murder Spree in UK CAPITAL Continues, 50 DEAD in 2018

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.05.18

A man in his mid-twenties was brutally stabbed to death in North London Wednesday night, bringing the British capital’s murder rate to over 50 people since the beginning of 2018 and raising serious security questions throughout the United Kingdom.

According to the Telegraph, the unidentified man was found “fatally wounded” by the Metropolitan Police Department in London’s Hackney neighborhood shortly after 8pm.

“In the same borough just hours earlier a man in his 50s died outside a bookmakers in Upper Clapton Road following a suspected fight,” writes the Telegraph. “The attack has added to the UK’s soaring rate of knife crime, with fatal stabbings in England and Wales at their highest levels since 2010/11.”

The stabbing death comes just days after two teenagers were killed in similar attacks in the country’s largest city.

The shocking tally means the murder rate in London has risen by 40% in just three years; the stark opposite to New York City’s crime statistics which have fallen by nearly 90% since Mayor Rudolph Giuliani’s harsh crackdown in the 1990s.

LONDON FALLING: UK Capital MURDER RATE Now Higher Than NYC

posted by Hannity Staff - 4.02.18

The official murder rate in London is now higher than similar statistics in New York City for the first time in modern history, with a record-breaking 12 killings occurring in the UK capital in just over two weeks.

According to the UK’s Daily Mail, Britain’s largest city is in the midst of a stunning crime wave; where the official murder tally topped New York’s for the first time in recorded history.

“February marked the first month in history books that London had more murders than the American city with a total of 15 homicides. Out of the 15 killed, nine were aged 30 or younger,” writes the Daily Mail. “In March, there were 22 murders, which is likely to match if not beat out New York’s numbers.”

Unlike the United States, most murders throughout Britain are committed using knives and other weapons as the UK has far stricter regulations on rifles and shotguns and a de-facto ban on pistols and handguns.

The crime rate in many American cities -and most notably New York City- has plummeted since the 1980s and 1990s; with the Big Apple’s murder rate dropping a stunning 87% from the mid 1990s.
