NANCY'S NIGHTMARE: Liberal Candidates 'DUMP PELOSI' Ahead of 2018 Midterms

posted by Hannity Staff - 8.10.18

A growing chorus of liberal legislators are walking away from Nancy Pelosi ahead of the 2018 midterm elections; raising serious questions over the political future of Pelosi should Democrats retake control of Congress this fall.

“Democratic congressional candidates are revolting against Nancy Pelosi in even bigger numbers, amid fears that her grip on power could hurt the party’s chances in the midterms and hold back its next generation of leaders,” writes Fox News. “The list of candidates refusing to support the California Democrat for speaker — or refusing to state their position — has steadily grown, though estimates vary.”

One Democratic candidate who recently won a primary in Michigan refused to answer questions surrounding Pelosi’s future.

“Probably not. That’s my answer, no. Probably not,” said Rashida Tlaib. “For me, I need someone that, again, is connected with the different levels of poverty going on, the fact that there are structures and barriers for working families in my district that need to be dismantled, and supporting big banks and supporting efforts that I don’t think put the people first is troubling.”

ARMAGEDDON AGAIN: Pelosi Says ‘CIVILIZATION AT RISK’ in 2018 Midterms

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.09.18

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi doubled-down on her anti-Trump rhetoric this week, saying “civilization as we know it as at risk” should the Republicans continue to lead Congress following the 2018 midterm elections.

Pelosi was speaking with Rolling Stone magazine when she was asked to comment on how the Democrats were prepared to flip districts won by President Trump in 2016; saying “How do you narrow it down?”

“Civilization as we know it today is at risk in this election. We have to win. We have to win. So you can’t spread your money too thinly, because you can run the risk,” said the leading Democrat.

“If the election were today – no question we would win. But you have to be aware of the undercurrents. Because you don’t know what can come along – and what comes along eclipses what you’re doing,” she added.

Pelosi’s comments come as the over-hyped “blue wave” predicted for this November continues to crash and burn, with some polls showing the once double-digit Democrat advantage reduced to just a few points.

BACK OFF: Moderate Dems Urge NY SOCIALIST to ‘Cool It’ Before 2018 Midterms

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.17.18

New York socialist candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez found herself in hot water among her fellow Democrats this week, with liberal legislators telling the left-wing superstar to “cool it” before the 2018 midterm elections.

Cortez made national headlines this week after she suddenly referred to Israeli settlers as the “occupiers of Palestine” during a recent interview; sparking a fierce backlash from her moderate colleagues

“She’s carrying on and she ain’t gonna make friends that way,” Rep. Bill Pascrell told the Hill. “Joe conceded, wished her well, said he would support her … so she doesn’t know what the hell she’s talking about.”

When pressed on whether Cortez was ruffling feathers among her fellow Democrats, Pascrell didn’t hold back.

“Yes,” he said. “No doubt about it.”

“Meteors fizz out,” added Democratic Rep. Hastings. “What she will learn in this institution is that it’s glacial to begin with, and therefore no matter how far you rise, that’s just how far you will ultimately get your comeuppance.”
