NFL DISGRACE: Here’s the Pro-Veteran SUPER BOWL AD the NFL Didn't Want You to See

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.05.18

The pro-veteran organization whose patriotic Super Bowl advertisement was banned by the NFL released the “controversial” footage over the weekend; showing proud Americans urging their fellow citizens to “volunteer” and “exercise their rights.”

The ad, titled ‘Please Stand’ and created by veteran’s organization AMVETS, made national headlines last month when the proposed video was barred by the National Football League as being too political for the NFL’s Big Game.

Last week, a petition appeared on social media urging the NFL to reconsider their decision.

“The NFL continues to claim that the anti-American protests by millionaire players on the field represent ‘free speech,’ yet the league is denying free speech to AMVETS,” said the group behind the protest.

“I am appalled to learn the NFL has decided to reject a patriotic ad by AMVETS. Rejecting an ad that simply encourages Americans to stand for the national anthem and our flag is an insult to every veteran who has served in our nation’s military,” added the petition.
