NO COMMENT: Cory Booker REFUSES to Answer Questions about Omar, Abruptly Cancels Briefing

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.07.19

Sen. Cory Booker flat-out refused to comment on Rep. Ilhan Omar’s anti-Semitic tirade Thursday; abruptly canceling a press briefing when he was asked to weigh-in on her series of anti-Israeli tweets.

“Any questions? Anybody?” asked Booker.

“Regarding the controversy surrounding Congresswoman Omar,” began one reporter.

“Can we do off-topic questions when we finish? I will happily stand and talk with you about that… No questions on that? Then I’m going to end this press conference,” said Booker.

BERNIE BACKS OMAR: Sanders Defends Omar’s ‘Legitimate Criticism’ of Israel

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.07.19

Vermont Senator and potential 2020 Democratic nominee Bernie Sanders defended Rep. Ilhan Omar’s fierce anti-Israeli rhetoric Thursday; saying Americans shouldn’t “equate” anti-Semitism with “legitimate criticism” of the Jewish State.

“Anti-Semitism is a hateful and dangerous ideology which must be vigorously opposed in the United States and around the world,” said Sanders. “We must not, however, equate anti-Semitism with legitimate criticism of the right-wing, Netanyahu government in Israel.”

“Rather, we must develop an even-handed Middle East policy which brings Israelis and Palestinians together for a lasting peace,” he added.

House Democrats will vote Thursday on a resolution “against bigotry” that fails to explicitly condemn Omar’s recent series of anti-Israeli statements and posts on social media.

KAMALA: ‘The Spotlight Being Put on Congresswoman Omar May Put Her at Risk’

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.07.19

Sen. Kamala Harris refused to condemn Rep. Ilhan Omar’s vicious anti-Israeli rhetoric Wednesday evening; releasing a statement that says she’s now “concerned” about the “spotlight” being placed on Omar’s comments.

“Like some of my colleagues in the Congressional Black Caucus, I am concerned that the spotlight being put on Congresswoman Omar may put her at risk. We should be having a sound, respectful discussion about policy,” said the statement.

Omar made national headlines just days ago when she accused American politicians of having a “dual loyalty” or “foreign allegiance” to the state of Israel.
