OBAMA'S INACTION: Trump SLAMS Obama’s TOTAL INACTION on Russian Election Interference

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.19.18

President Trump called out his predecessor’s complete inactivity on Russian election interference on Monday, asking why former President Barack Obama “didn’t do something” over reports of foreign meddling throughout 2016.

The Commander-in-Chief blasted Obama on social media; pointing out Robert Mueller’s indictment shows Russian meddling going as far back as 2014; a full year before Trump announced his candidacy.

“Russia started their anti-US campaign in 2014, long before I announced that I would run for President. The results of the election were not impacted. The Trump campaign did nothing wrong – no collusion!” Trump tweeted.

“Obama was President up to, and beyond, the 2016 Election. So why didn’t he do something about Russian meddling?” he asked.

The President’s comments come days after the special counsel’s office indicted 13 Russian nationals for attempting to disrupt the 2016 race for the White House; alleging the foreign actors used social media and phony accounts to imitate valid American political organizations.

ADAM’S ADMISSION: Schiff Says OBAMA ADMIN to Blame for Russian Meddling

Liberal congressman Adam Schiff publicly admitted over the weekend that former President Barack Obama dropped the ball on Russian election interference; saying his administration was partially to blame for foreign meddling throughout the 2016 race for the White House.

Speaking at the Council on Foreign Relations Friday, the ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee spoke out about the Obama administration’s “minimal response” as accusations of Russian interference made national headlines.

“Russians are equal-opportunity malevolent actors,” said Schiff. “They’re not Republican and they’re not Democrats. They’re just designed in their foreign policy and their cyber policy to undermine the United States.”

“I do think though, that in fairness, some responsibility is attributed to the Obama administration for not establishing a more forceful deterrent. I think it goes back to the [North] Korean hack of Sony, which there was a minimal response. I think others around the world watched that,” he added.

BOMBSHELL: Obama Admin Spied on Trump Campaign Chairman During Election

posted by Hannity Staff - 10.18.17

Former chairman of the Trump campaign Paul Manafort was wiretapped by federal investigators before, during, and after the 2016 general election; fueling speculation that private conversations between President Trump and senior aides was intercepted by Obama officials prior to his inauguration.

According to Fox News, the wiretapping was authorized by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) in 2014 as part of an ongoing FBI investigation over Manafort’s financial ties to Russia and Ukrainian officials.

The initial order expired in 2016 but was extended to early 2017.

Paul Manafort is a central figure in special counsel Robert Mueller’s ongoing investigation into allegations that Russian officials meddled in the US presidential election on behalf of the Trump campaign.

His home in northern Virginia was raided by FBI officials in July.

The revelation that the federal government wiretapped senior Trump aides vindicates comments made by the President earlier this year, claiming that Obama officials had been listening to his private conversations.

“Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my ‘wires tapped’ in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!” tweeted the President in March.
