PROMISE KEPT: Trump Signs VETERANS ACT to Expand Healthcare

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.06.18

President Trump signed a new bill Wednesday aimed at increasing access to healthcare and expanding choices for Veterans across the United States; clearing the path for America’s service members to receive services from the private sector.

The VA MISSION Act was passed by both houses of Congress earlier this year, fulfilling a key campaign promise by the President who repeatedly pledged to allow US veterans the right to access healthcare from non-VA operated hospitals.

The signing ceremony took place on the White House lawn earlier Wednesday, marking the 74th anniversary of the D-Day invasion of France that would eventually topple Nazi tyranny in Europe.

“What a beautiful word that is — choice — and freedom to our amazing veterans,” Trump said at the ceremony. “All during the campaign I’d go out and say, ‘Why can’t they just go see a doctor instead of standing in line for weeks and weeks and weeks?’ Now they can go see a doctor.”

PATHETIC: Democrat Who Smeared Trump Routinely VOTES AGAINST Veterans

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.04.17

The Florida Democrat Representative who viciously claimed President Trump intentionally insulted a military service member’s widow on Wednesday is now under fire herself; with Congressional records showing she voted “no” on at least ten bills aimed at helping American veterans.

According to Fox News, liberal Rep. Frederica Wilson routinely voted against numerous pieces of legislation aimed at supporting US service members and their families, including a bill that would have secured “death and burial benefits” to four soldiers killed in 2013 while serving in Afghanistan.

Wilson also voted against legislation that would have expanded funding for US veterans, increased payments to the widows of those killed in action, and re-vamped VA hospitals across the United States.

The Florida Congresswoman made national headlines this week when she accused President Trump of making insensitive remarks to the widow of a soldier recently killed in Niger. The liberal lawmaker, who allegedly overheard the call, said Trump told the soldier’s wife, “he knew what he signed up for.”

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders fired-back at Wilson over her incendiary comments, saying senior officials were “disgusted” that the Congresswoman was playing petty political games with fallen US soldiers.
