RED WAVE RISING: Trump Calls for ‘RED WAVE’ in November to Solve Border Crisis

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.22.18

President Trump called for a “red wave” during the 2018 midterm elections Friday, saying a Republican landslide was needed for Congress to pass meaningful immigration reform and defeat the Democrat’s “games.”

Trump took to Twitter to motivate GOP voters this week, slamming liberal legislators for refusing to cooperate with their Republican colleagues and solve the nation’s escalating border crisis.

“Republicans should stop wasting their time on Immigration until after we elect more Senators and Congressmen/women in November. Dems are just playing games, have no intention of doing anything to solves this decades old problem. We can pass great legislation after the Red Wave!” tweeted the President.

The Commander-in-Chief’s comments come just hours after a conservative immigration bill failed in the House of Representatives, with 41 GOP lawmakers voting against the legislation.

BLUE WAVE CRASHING: Democrat Edge EVAPORATES Heading into Summer

The Democrats’ double-digit lead continued to crash and burn this week, with new polls showing the GOP has either erased the liberal advantage or is actually beating their left-wing opponents on generic ballots.

The lead -once as high as 18 points- is all but gone on ballots asking voters if they preferred Democrats or Republicans; raising serious questions about the overly-hyped “blue wave” expected to sweep Congress this fall.

Late last year, Liberal Congressman Ted Lieu warned of a Democrat “megatsunami” heading into the midterm.

Those predictions may turn out to be little more than wishful thinking, with a new Reuters poll showing Republicans enjoying a 2% edge over their Democratic opponents.

BLUE WAVE CRASHING: GOP Fundraising SMASHES RECORDS Ahead of 2018 Midterms

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.20.18

The Republican National Committee revealed Wednesday that it raised more money heading into 2018 than any other midterm election in history; smashing expectations and raising serious questions about the predicted “blue wave” this fall.

“The RNC is investing in over 70 races across the country,” said RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel. “We’re already on the ground in 27 states. In California two weeks ago, there were seven races where Hillary Clinton won those districts. In six of those districts, more Republicans turned out than Democrats. That is very good for us in those primaries.”

“We have raised more money than any political party in history going into a midterm,” she added.

McDaniel’s comments come as the Democratic National Committee struggles to raise money ahead of the 2018 election, when the DNC hopes to sway enough centrist and moderate voters to retake control of Congress this fall.
