RELEASE THE MEMO: DOJ Seeks to BLOCK CONGRESS from Releasing FISA Bombshell

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.25.18

The Department of Justice is seeking to block Congressional leaders from publicly releasing a bombshell memo outlining widespread FISA abuse at the DOJ; telling the House Intelligence Committee it would be “extraordinarily reckless” to publish the documents.

Justice Department officials sent the strongly-worded letter to House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes Wednesday, instructing the GOP Representative to seek approval from both the DOJ and the FBI before releasing the explosive material to members of Congress; claiming the move would be detrimental to “national security.”

The bombshell memo reportedly details widespread abuse of the FISA courts to deploy the nation’s top-secret surveillance tools on American citizens; possibly including President Trump and his senior aides in the run-up to the 2016 general election and his inauguration.

The scathing letter from the DOJ denies any abuse of FISA courts or other surveillance systems by the Department of Justice or the FBI.

“As you know, we have provided [the House Intelligence Committee] with more than 1,000 pages of classified documents relating to the FBI’s relationship, if any, with a source and its reliance, if any, on information provided by that source.”

GOP legislators who have seen the memo describe its contents as “jaw-dropping” and claim the report may shed new light on the level of anti-Trump bias at the Department of Justice.

DOJ DISGRACE: FBI Informant CONFIRMS Anti-Trump 'SECRET SOCIETY' at DOJ

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.24.18

Senator Ron Johnson raised eyebrows throughout Washington Tuesday night, telling reporters the GOP legislator has an informant inside the FBI who confirmed the existence of an anti-Trump ‘secret society’ at the Department of Justice.

Johnson was speaking with Fox News when he made the bombshell revelation, telling viewers that a group of individuals at the DOJ met “off-site” to derail President Trump’s agenda within days of his inauguration.

“What this is all about is further evidence of corruption -more than bias- at the highest levels of the FBI,” said Sen. Johnson. “And the secret society? We have an informant that’s talking about a group that was holding secret meetings off-site. There’s so much smoke here, so much suspicion.”

“We need to dig into this. This is not a distraction,” he added. “Again, this is bias and potentially corruption at the highest levels of the FBI that’s now being investigated. And by the way, Robert Mueller used to run the FBI. He’s in no position to do an investigation over this kind of misconduct.”

“At this point in time, we should be looking at a special counsel to undertake this investigation but Congress is going to have to continue to dig,” said the Senator.

DOJ Searching Trove of Texts from Anti-Trump Agent

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.08.17

The Department of Justice is rummaging through “over 10,000 texts” between the FBI agent recently demoted from Robert Mueller’s investigation for his “anti-Trump bias” and his counterparts at the special counsel’s office.

DOJ officials tell Fox News they’re currently sifting through 10,000 text exchanges to determine the extent of Strzok’s bias, and whether his personal opinions of President Trump impacted his ability to impartially conduct his investigation.

Peter Strzok was secretly re-assigned to the FBI’s Human Resources Department earlier this year after Robert Mueller was informed of his Trump-hating text exchanges with other investigators.

The revelation of anti-Trump operatives inside the special counsel’s office prompted an immediate response from GOP leaders and officials; questioning Mueller’s ability to properly investigate allegations of Russian-Trump collusion throughout the 2016 presidential race.

They’re not the only ones.

The Wall Street Journal’s editorial board published a scathing op-ed piece on Thursday, citing the text exchanges and other mistakes as irreparably damaging the special counsel’s office and demanding Mueller’s immediate resignation from the investigation.
