REPORT: DOJ Stonewalls, REFUSES to Provide Congress with Russia-Trump Docs

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.07.18

A new bombshell report from Sara Carter claims the Department of Justice is backtracking on their pledge to provide Congressional investigators with documents relating to the Russia-Trump probe.

“The Department of Justice reneged on a commitment to provide access to documents they promised to congressional lawmakers by Thursday morning. Instead, DOJ issued a press release after midnight suggesting they will only meet with a group of select lawmakers to discuss the matter on the same day the North Korea summit opens in Singapore, according to numerous sources and a DOJ statement,” writes Carter.

“Moreover, the Justice Department also issued new stipulations for briefing congressional members and limited the meeting with only the Gang of Eight, which is comprised of eight leaders within Congress who are briefed on classified intelligence matters,” she adds.

“This request for documents is not at the Gang of Eight level,” said a source familiar with the matter. “This is yet another line of obfuscation, stonewalling and delay tactics by the DOJ. They were supposed to deliver the documents to Congress Thursday and then at the last second did what they always do: fail to keep their commitment.”

DOJ Searching Trove of Texts from Anti-Trump Agent

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.08.17

The Department of Justice is rummaging through “over 10,000 texts” between the FBI agent recently demoted from Robert Mueller’s investigation for his “anti-Trump bias” and his counterparts at the special counsel’s office.

DOJ officials tell Fox News they’re currently sifting through 10,000 text exchanges to determine the extent of Strzok’s bias, and whether his personal opinions of President Trump impacted his ability to impartially conduct his investigation.

Peter Strzok was secretly re-assigned to the FBI’s Human Resources Department earlier this year after Robert Mueller was informed of his Trump-hating text exchanges with other investigators.

The revelation of anti-Trump operatives inside the special counsel’s office prompted an immediate response from GOP leaders and officials; questioning Mueller’s ability to properly investigate allegations of Russian-Trump collusion throughout the 2016 presidential race.

They’re not the only ones.

The Wall Street Journal’s editorial board published a scathing op-ed piece on Thursday, citing the text exchanges and other mistakes as irreparably damaging the special counsel’s office and demanding Mueller’s immediate resignation from the investigation.

BOMBSHELL: DOJ Finds Comey ‘DEFIED AUTHORITY’ as FBI Director

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.06.18

A watchdog agency for the Department of Justice has concluded that former FBI Director James Comey “defied authority” during his time as the head of the agency, reports those with inside knowledge of the upcoming report.

According to ABC News, sources are saying an early draft of the report by Inspector General Michael Horowitz used the term “insubordinate” while describing Comey’s tenure at the nation’s premier law enforcement agency.

The report goes on to slam former Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s behavior surrounding the DOJ’s probe into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server.

It remains unclear when a full draft of Horowitz’ report will be released to the public.

President Trump demanded the release of the material on social media Tuesday, asking “What is taking so long with the Inspector General’s Report on Crooked Hillary and Slippery James Comey?”

“Hope report is not being changed and made weaker!” he added.
