Video streaming giant Netflix announced Thursday its plan to pick former National Security Advisor Susan Rice to join its board of directors; surprising colleagues and drawing sharp criticism from prominent conservatives throughout the country.
The senior Obama aide’s new job comes just weeks after her former boss signed an exclusive deal with Netflix; agreeing to produce new content and programming for the media powerhouse.
“Netflix doubles down in support of Obama corruption — compromised Susan Rice, who lied repeatedly on both Benghazi and the unmasking issue joins its Board of Directors,” said Tom Fitton, President of Judicial Watch.
Netflix CEO Reed Hastings hailed Rice’s decision to join his team, saying she has first-hand experience in tackling “complex global issues.”
“For decades, she has tackled difficult, complex global issues with intelligence, integrity and insight and we look forward to benefiting from her experience and wisdom,” he added.
