RYAN STRIKES: Paul Ryan Threatens to Hold LISA PAGE in CONTEMPT

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.11.18

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan didn’t hold back while discussing anti-Trump FBI lawyer Lisa Page Wednesday; threatening to hold the DOJ official in “contempt of Congress” should she fail to testify before Congressional leaders.

According to Politico, Ryan was referring to Page’s recent suggestion that she may decline to speak before the House Judiciary Committee; adding he was “very disturbed” by the anti-Trump attorney’s comments.

“I am very disturbed by this,” Ryan told journalists at a press briefing Wednesday. “Congressional subpoenas for testimony are not optional. … She was a part of a mess that they have uncovered over at DOJ. She has an obligation to come testify.”

“If she wants to come plead the Fifth, that’s her choice. But a subpoena to testify before Congress is not optional. It’s mandatory. She needs to comply,” he added.

Lisa Page and FBI agent Peter Strzok made national headlines earlier this year following the release of their private text conversations; illustrating widespread anti-Trump political bias throughout the Department of Justice.

DAY OF RECKONING: Anti-Trump FBI Lawyer Lisa Page to TESTIFY ‘This Month’

posted by Hannity Staff - 7.11.18

Anti-Trump FBI lawyer Lisa Page confirmed Wednesday her willingness to testify before Congressional leaders “later this month,” facing heated questions over her politically biased text exchanges with DOJ official Peter Strzok.

According to the Washington Examiner, Page’s attorney confirmed her client’s plan to comply with Congressional requests and appear before the House Judiciary Committee at an unspecified date.

“She has offered to voluntarily appear before the committees later this month,” said Page’s attorney. “I received a message from the Department of Justice after 11 p.m. last night that they have finally granted her request to review the relevant documents. We are working to arrange that process quickly so that we can move forward with her appearance before the Committees.”

Lisa Page and Peter Strzok made national headlines earlier this year after multiple text exchanges were publicly released; showing widespread anti-Trump bias throughout the FBI and the Department of Justice ahead of the 2016 race for the White House.

The private conversations raised serious questions over the FBI’s handling of the investigation of Hillary Clinton’s private email server as well as the probe into Russian collusion during the 2016 election.

BIAS ALERT: FBI Agents ‘PRESSURED’ to END Hillary Probe After Trump Nomination

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.22.18

Officials at the Department of Justice forked over hundreds of pages of previously unseen text messages to Congressional investigators over the weekend; revealing new details on how FBI agents were “pressured” to exonerate Hillary Clinton’s private email scandal after Donald Trump secured the GOP nomination in 2016.

New text messages between FBI agent Peter Strzok and bureau lawyer Lisa Page shed new light on the level of anti-Trump bias and corruption throughout the agency in the run-up to the US presidential election; suggesting the bureau was hoping to conclude Clinton’s probe within minutes of Donald Trump’s victory over GOP opponent Senator Ted Cruz.

“Holy s*** Cruz just dropped out of the race. It’s going to be a Clinton Trump race. Unbelievable,” wrote Page in May of 2016.

“I saw Trump won, figured it would be a bit,” responded Strzok. “Now the pressure really starts to finish MYE.”

The reference to “MYE” refers to ‘Mid-Year Exam,’ the FBI code name for the ongoing investigation of Hillary Clinton’s mishandling of classified information and use of a private email server.

According to CBS News, the conversation was included in Sen. Ron Johnson’s scathing letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray, where the Homeland Security Chairman demanded answers over anti-Trump bias at the agency ahead of the 2016 election.
