RYAN’S REMINDER: The Speaker Says Obama Had ‘HUGE MAJORITY’ and DID NOTHING on Immigration

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.21.18

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan called-out Democrats and former President Barack Obama during a press conference Thursday; reminding the liberal lawmakers they had a ‘huge majority’ just years ago and did nothing to fix the nation’s immigration system.

Ryan was speaking with reporters ahead of a House vote on two separate immigration bills, slamming left-wing legislators who had 60 votes in the Senate and a “huge majority” in the House yet failed to pass comprehensive immigration reform.

Ryan on Obama

"Don't forget for a second here, when Barack Obama was president for a while he had 60 votes in the Senate and a huge majority in the House, and he didn't do anything to fix the broken immigration system. Nothing. And they had total control of government." – Speaker Paul Ryan

“Don’t forget for a second here, when Barack Obama was president for a while he had 60 votes in the Senate and a huge majority in the House, and he didn’t do anything to fix the broken immigration system. Nothing. And they had total control of government,” said the Speaker.

OUCH: Paul Ryan UNLOADS on 'SAD' Nancy Pelosi Over ‘Crumbs’ Comment

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.12.18

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan didn’t mince words when addressing House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s assertions that the GOP tax cuts aren’t helping American workers, saying increased wages and $1000 bonuses “aren’t crumbs” to average families.

“As you know, leader Pelosi’s calling all of this ‘crumbs,’” a reporter from C-SPAN pressed the GOP leader.

“I was sad and surprised she said that. To somebody working at Walmart at the starting wage who just went from $9 an hour to $11 an hour, that’s not crumbs. To a person working paycheck to paycheck who just got a $1000 bonus, that’s not crumbs,” said Ryan.

“Comcast –just one company- is investing $50 billion in America, in jobs, in expanding across the country, this isn’t crumbs. The additional maternity leave at Walmart, the higher 401(k) plans… these aren’t crumbs,” he added.

“More than half of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck. When they get something like a $1000 bonus at Christmas time because of this tax cut, it’s hardly crumbs,” said the Speaker of the House.

PELOSI PANIC: Nancy BEGS Paul Ryan to STOP Memo Release

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.01.18

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi was in full-fledged panic mode earlier Thursday, demanding Speaker of the House Paul Ryan remove Devin Nunes from his position just hours before the House Intelligence Committee is set to release the controversial FISA memo to the general public.

Pelosi posted her incendiary letter to Speaker Ryan on social media, saying Nunes’ “deliberately dishonest actions make him unfit to serve” and called for his “immediate removal” from the Committee.

“Both the DOJ and FBI oppose releasing the Nunes memo.  As the Department of Justice warned, the public release of the memo would be an ‘unprecedented action’ and ‘extraordinarily reckless,’” wrote Pelosi. “The FBI also expressed that the agency has ‘grave concerns about material omissions of fact that fundamentally impact the memo’s accuracy.’”

“It is long overdue that you, as Speaker, put an end to this charade and hold Congressman Nunes and all Congressional Republicans accountable to the oath they have taken to support and defend the Constitution, and protect the American people,” she added.
