**GEORGE H.W. BUSH PASSES AWAY AT THE AGE OF 94, AS THE NATION MOURNS

**UNFORTUNATELY SOME IN THE MEDIA USE THIS TIME TO BASH OUR CURRENT PRESIDENT

**THE PRESIDENT’S FAITHFUL AND LOYAL DOG, SULLY, STANDS BY THE COFFIN

**COMEY AGREES TO CLOSED DOOR SESSION WITH HOUSE PANEL

**MUELLER REPORT EXPECTED ANY DAY NOW

4:05 PM ET – Newt Gingrich, former Speaker of the House, Fox News Contributor, and author of Trump’s America: The Truth about Our Nation’s Great Comeback, his latest NY Times bestseller, has penned an article on the reaction to Mueller’s report. Specifically, the Speaker has addressed his concerns and outlined his thoughts, some of which are below:

The first two weeks after Mueller holds a press briefing and delivers his report will be vital in defining its meaning and its impact.

The left has been building its narrative for over two years. It knows the report will be bad and it already condemns the President under any circumstance.

The left will not have to read, digest or think about the report. It merely needs to find specific quotes and examples and then wave the document as proof of condemnation.

The right will be split into three groups.

4:30 PM ET – Ari Fleischer, media consultant and political aide, who served as the twenty-first White House Press Secretary for President George W. Bush, joins to talk about the passing of George H.W. Bush, the good work he did while President and the media’s ability to take a somber moment and make it political. From a piece in the Washington Times by Charlie Hurt:

It has been nothing short of miraculous in this new season of Advent to hear all the Hosannas and applause for our recently departed former President George H.W. Bush.
In The New York Times, Mr. Bush was heralded for his “uncommon grace.”
The Washington Post called him a “giant of a man.”
“The kindest and considerate person I’ve ever known.”
“The most beautiful creature I had ever laid eyes on.”
Not your typical remembrances from jaded politicos about mere mortals. Especially if that mortal happens to be a Republican politician.
Where were all these lofty accolades when Mr. Bush was alive? Where was all this love when he was president? Where was this towering regard for the man when he was losing his re-election campaign in 1992?
Oh, that’s right. The press lies. And there is no time to lie about someone like once they are dead and no longer pose any threat.
When President Bush was alive and still a threat in politics, he was scorned and ridiculed by the press.

5:05 PM ET – David Schoen, Civil Liberties Attorney, and Gregg Jarrett, Fox News Legal Analyst and author of the Russia Hoax are here to discuss James Comey. The former FBI director has agreed to have a closed-door session with members of the house.

Former FBI Director James Comey on Sunday withdrew a legal challenge that sought to quash a congressional subpoena compelling him to testify in secret about the bureau’s decisions on investigations ahead of the 2016 presidential election, his lawyer said.

Comey agreed to sit down for a closed-door deposition on Friday. Republicans on the U.S. House of Representatives Judiciary Committee pledged to provide Comey with a full transcript within 24 hours of his testimony, and he will be permitted to “make any or all of that transcript public,” Comey’s lawyer David Kelley told Reuters in a statement.

Comey and the Republican lawmakers reached the new agreement the day before lawyers were to appear at a court hearing. A judge had been set to issue a ruling on Comey’s request to quash the subpoena and halt congressional proceedings – a request that has never previously been granted by a judge in the United States. 5:30 PM ET – Dion Baia, author of his first book out tomorrow online and in bookstores everywhere, Blood in the Streets:

Over the course of seven days in 1970s New Haven, veteran homicide detective Frank Suchy gradually loses his grip on sanity and sobriety while investigating the murder of his best friend’s child.

The year is 1976. Veteran New Haven homicide detective Frank Suchy has finally learned to cope with the demons in his life and the daily pressure of ‘the job’—being exposed to every manner of death that could possibly befall someone—all the while celebrating his third year of sobriety.

But when his best friend’s child is brutally murdered in broad daylight outside a downtown shopping mall, his world begins to deteriorate, bringing back the nightmares that he thought were locked away long ago. Recollections of his brief friendship with rock singer Jim Morrison (who he befriended at the 1967 New Haven concert where the singer was arrested onstage), and all the other terrible memories he had worked so hard to suppress…come pouring back.

To make matters worse, there are external forces that threaten Detective Suchy’s wellbeing. Pressure from bureaucrats and the political elite to curtail any exposure of the case to the public in the wake of New Haven’s recent massive Urban Renewal Project, and the simmering racial and social divide between the minority communities against the police department in particular, send Detective Suchy over the edge. He spirals out of control in a desperate race against time to solve this horrendous case, hoping to somehow redeem his soul—and the city’s, for that matter—even if it means laying down his own life in the process.
