4:05 PM ET – Highlights from Sean’s interview with the President following his meeting with President Putin in Finland.

4:35 PM ET – Todd Wood, is a former special operations helicopter pilot and has contributed to Fox Business, The Moscow Times and believe that President Trump’s strategy with Putin is a correct one. Joining him is Scott Uehlinger, Retired CIA operations officer and Russian intel operations expert and Gregg Jarrett, Fox News Legal Analyst and author of the upcoming release, The Russian Hoax, The Illicit Scheme to Clear Hillary Clinton and Frame Donald Trump (available for presale on Amazon) are here to talk about his perspective on the summit as well, the press conference, and the feigned moral outrage by the left. From Wood’s column in the Washington Times:

Mr. Trump’s help was crucial, of course. The coming U.S. sanctions, according to Secretary of State Pompeo, will be devastating. With the regime having spent all its money on the wars in Syria and Iraq, if oil revenues go to zero, it’s game over for the mullahs.

The killers in Tehran know this. This is why Iran dispatched Ali Akbar Velayati, an adviser to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on foreign issues, to Moscow this week to deliver a threat to Mr. Putin: Do not make a deal with Mr. Trump or your forces in Syria may suffer.

Iran and Russia have forces in Syria bolstering the Assad regime. With the Kremlin having wound down the bulk of its forces inside Syria, Iran is resisting growing pressure to give up its firmly entrenched positions in Syria, Lebanon and Iraq.

But Russia no longer needs anything that Iran has to give. One reason for Mr. Putin’s support of the Iran deal and for the regime itself has been for help in propping up the Assad government, a long-term Soviet/Russian ally. Mr. Putin would understandably like to preserve the Russian navy base at the port of Tartus and its access to the airfields near Latakia.

5:05 PM ET – Austan Goolsbee, a Professor at Chicago’s Booth School of Economics and former chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers for the Obama Administration, visits the show to discuss the meetings in Europe, President Trump’s comments on NATO, Brexit, Merkel and May.

President Donald Trump on Monday touted his success for making NATO “strong and rich again” at a summit last week just hours before he is set to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“Received many calls from leaders of NATO countries thanking me for helping to bring them together and to get them focused on financial obligations, both present & future,” Trump tweeted. “We had a truly great Summit that was inaccurately covered by much of the media. NATO is now strong & rich!”

5:30 PM ET – Congressman Louie Gohmert of Texas, is here to talk about his heated exchange with Peter Strzok last week during the House Judiciary and OGR Committees hearing. Gohmert, and some other members of the committee are asking for Strzok to be held accountable for his lies while under oath. During his testimony he said he knew nothing about the Hillary Clinton emails, which doesn’t quite make sense. Did he perjure himself? Gohmert also updates us on the Lisa Page closed door session of testimony yesterday:

Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, said Tuesday that former FBI lawyer Lisa Page has been more helpful than FBI agent Peter Strzok when it comes to answering their questions about how the FBI handled the Russia and Hillary Clinton investigations.

“She has given us more insights to who was involved in what,” Gohmert told Fox News.

“She’s a more contrite person,” he added. “But make no mistake … she’s a Democrat. She wanted Hillary to win and she did not want Trump to win, and that’s been obvious.” (h/t Washington Examiner)
